This thread has probably been done before, but here goes--

You have to nominate your top Mario game from the following categories:

Old School: Arcade, NES, Game and Watch, SNES
Newer Consoles: Nintendo 64, Gamecube
Pocket Power!!: Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS

Then, of course, you have to choose a favourite out of the three you chose! Here's mine:

Old School: Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World
Newer Consoles: Super Smash Bros
Pocket Power!!: TIE: Super Mario Bros DX and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga

I will be tallying the current points when I next get on my PC. Enjoy!
If my son could decimate Lego cities with his genitals, I'd be [darn] proud.

Old School: Ya, Probably Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World, just because it's got the upgraded classics.

Newer Consoles: Let's just say that Mario Kart 64 is untoppable.

Pocket Power!!: Either GB Donkey Kong or Mario VS. Donkey Kong.

Let's see here:

Old School: Yoshi's Island. Yep.
Nu Skool: I'd go with Mario Kart 64. I wasted so much time on that.
Pocket Rockets: Mario Golf, GBC. Because I already put YI.

Heh, come on now.  It's so cheating to put SMAS+SMW.  That's five games!  One CARTRIDGE, but still five games.  Of course the creator of the thread did set a precedent, so . . .

Old School:  Um, I think SMW.  I loved it and it took me years to find everything.  Runners-up would be YI and SMRPG though.

New School:  SM64--see SMW.  I need to play through that one again.  Runners-up would be both Paper Marios.

Pocket Power:  I dislike handheld systems, but I suppose M&L:SS.

Favorite of all of them:  Gah, that's too hard!  SM64, I think.  I'm still waiting for them to come out with another one that's that good.

Oh, and sorry that I couldn't reply sooner. I've had a few internet troubles, and also the fact that others are usually on the computer before I can get on.

Also, if I made any mistakes, please tell me ad I will correct them.

NOTE: If the game you voted for isn't here, then not many other people voted for it.
If my son could decimate Lego cities with his genitals, I'd be [darn] proud.
