Mario Chat / Favorite Villain in PM

XD Nya ha ha ha~! Yes, I'm back. Ahh well... don't ask where I disappeared to *this* time. Down to the post... I've just recently beaten Paper Mario, and all I have to say is "^_^!" . OK.. so its something that's technically impossible to speak of, but still... Definitely a *very* worthy game which should/is be placed up #1 on the charts. (Of which, I've noticed that game HAS single-handedly brought up sales dramatically for Nintendo, along with Conker's Bad Fur Day, which is also, too a VERY well put together game aside from the "M" factor ;D) See for yourself...

Anywho... I have to rant... Jr. Troopa is the best thing to hit that game! XD He's so adorable in a villainous "He keeps trying but will never win" kinda scenario. (Almost like Vegeta in DBZ... nah...) I also love Bow, even though she's not a villain... she's one of my most useful party members. (Her fan-smack attack is the best. ^_^) And my favorite boss... I'd have to say would be the Fire (Navel is it?) Piranha Plant in the Volcano. Crazy crazy crazy battle. ^_~ Excellent music, aside from Bowser's final--(spolier~! Whoops~!)  ;}

Strange choices ne? Couldn't be stranger than anyone elses.....

General Chat / ~The Zodiac Wheel~

I know many of you out there most likely have looked at a horoscope at least ONCE before... and I really am intregued and have studied the Zodiac for several years. With that said--the point of the post: What is your sign?

^_^;; I understand your respects if you don't "believe" in astrology, but I'm just curious. Guestimating people's personalities from thier birthdates makes me feel like I.... kinda "bond" a lil' more with them. ;D (And you all know how much I love everyone here... well.. maybe not.. ^_^;)

I, myself am a full-fledged Virgo--with a rising sign of Cancer. However.. I act nothing like that Cancerian trait I suppossdly have, and more like that of a Scorpios'. Weird, ne?

^__^ HELLLOOO EVERYONE...again! ;-; Don't ask where the heck I was for the past few months, but I'm just glad to finally return to spread some more insanity to this message board. I MISSED EVERYONE HERE!!! ::sob:: Chocobo, VelvetDark007, DavidDayton, Deezer, Lola Prue, Peach, Yoshi348, Black_Yoshi, Hinopio, and...and I know I'm missing many many many more, ^^; But I can't think of anymore off the topa my head..... *fuzzy moment* ^.^; Ok, I'm better now... I think. Anywho, Does anyone else agree with me that SMRPG game could [or should] be done on the Gamecube, in FULL 3D? No 2D ½ 3D ½ crap, just nice, full 3D.. OR SUPER MARIO WORLD in 3D!? WITHA YOSHI RANCH?! *just got struck with inspiration... dun ask* Hmmm... ^^; I dunno, I think I just might be runnin' outta stuff to post. o__o

Video Game Chat / Portable handheld N64?

Ug, Lately I've been getting way off subject and not thinking seriously enough in what I put in my posts [which I'd much rather do more than babbel on pointlessly] Anyway, I've always had this theory since Gameboy color came out; Orginally, Gameboy was simply black and white, and had compariable graphics compared to a regular NES chopped in half. Now, The graphics, gameplay, sound ect. on the Game Boy Color are coming closer and closer to SNES quality. I'll agree with that statement that gameboy has "evolved" and come quite a long way from which it one started. ^_^ And with that in mind, what if [which I think/hope it will] Gameboy kept "evolving" and enhancing so that eventually the graphics were of N64 quality? Could this happen? Maybe...But I think its quite...probable. ;} I keep picturing a regular N64 controller [with out the cord mind you] Only the Games would be inserted where normally the rumble pak or Mermory Card would go. The Rummble pak would attach to the games themselves, much like Gameshark. And the batteries [Hoy, think of how much battery power would be needed for this kind of situation! ;} ] would go in neat, secure little compartments just underneath where one would hold the controller. [If you flip over your N64 controller and look where the "Z" button is, you'll get a fairly good idea of what I mean,] And as far as the screen would go for showing the games, I think just above the joystick, we could widen the entire controller a wee bit more to make room for that, ne?

What if some other tv show/video game/thing fused with the Mario universe?! Think of the horrors people.... 0___o Mario running around screaming "pika-pika" and shocking Bowser! [poor bowser] Or Luigi with Link's sword and sheild [^.^; the colors would match quite well however] or Toad in Star Fox's ship.... hmmm sounds like for a great fanfiction cross-over ne? ^_^ Anyway, thouse were just the ones that I could think of off the top of my head...I probably missed dozen's of other good and or funnie cross-overs. ;)

Mario Chat / What if Mario...

I just had an odd thought,....What if Mario [in any of his games/cartoons/comics/adventures/whatever] had actually failed to rescue Peach?! In the mind of Lita, I would assume, that bowser would make sweet....umm...sour? love to peach, producing many oddly deformed, turtle/dinosaur like humaniods that would eventaully take over the Mushroom kingdom and forever end the Mario series. Whereas meanwhile, Mario & Luigi would have some sense knocked into them from a flaming boulder that fell from the sky~and they would move to Yo'ster Ilse and tease Baby Fat by constantally poking and proding him in the gut, while eating spam-flavored yoshi/mukumuku cookies. ^_^

Video Game Chat / Is squaresoft more affiliated with nintendo that we think?

I don't know about anyone else, but over the course of the summer, I've been looking all over for gaming music [namely, Modules, and SPC->IT Conversion Soundtracks.] And I found several nice final fantasy6 ones, and I was listening to them and a few tracks just began to sound so famaliar..Owzer's house sounds like Nimbus land castle[and I know squaresoft worked on this game, but just give me a sec here...] Serpent trench sounds alot like the opening to smw2: yoshi's island, Thamasa sounds like gerudo valley, [ya I know Legend of zelda isn't *really* part of the Mario universe, but still..]  The Veldt sounds like it's from one of the caves from smw...The opera dance sounds like the water theme to mario*think frog suit, annoying cheep cheeps,* The opera finale sounds kinda like booster hill, Spinach rag reminds me of smb3 and Zozo...don't ask why, but it just sounds like it's from mario~~maybe one of the cartoons...something like bowser, or another cave theme...
^_^; if anyone has ANY clue as to what I'm talking about--a reply would be apperciated ;)

What if I got the names from everyone here at the TMK message board *trumpet fanfare in background* to sign a petition to send to nintendo to request Super Smash Brother tournaments across the country????? Well it'sa good idea [I think] but ¦D lazy summer got the best of me---hmmm....maybe i could send an e-mail instead...

-.-;; Oui, I know this is a tiny bit off subject of Mario, but I need to babble about this~all my life I was raised to think that the wonderful world of gaming was ment to be only "a guys thing". I truely dispise this statement and so do a good deal of my female freinds [and a couple of my male friends] but unfortunatally, I would only consider two of my female freinds to be in the world of gaming. This really sickens me!! Why does it seem also that because of that, that nearly all games are guy based?! Take Tomb raider for the perfect example. Sony's just so **** desperate to make a profit that they make some ultra-un realistic "slut" in the game tha main character just to appeal to a bunch of horny guys!! UvU;;; I'll get to the main point and want to know--just on this message board alone, how many female gamers are out there?? [age would be nice too... ]

Hey, I read in one of the other posts here in the message board but I don't think too many people read it so I'm gonna fill in and post the brunt of it here;

What do you people think if they held SSB tournaments in different malls across the country? [like they did with pokeman...[hehe]

[ I actually don't hate pokemon, it's getting REALLY old now..other than that I think nyasu & nyura are adorable ;) ] Note nyura is the pre evolution of nyasu in silver/gold that is a devil type.. oh wait nevermind, nintendo said it's offically "dark" type now... ¦Þ how childish

Hey, I just have a [kinda] great idea. I mean kinda since it has a few flaws but here we go;

Would do you people think if someone could make a ***GOOD*** SMRPG2 with rpg maker 95. Its a free tool over the internet as a download to make the rpgs of your dreams. [found at http://www.rpgmaker.net/] ^^;; I was just curious as too what you people would think of that and if anyone could ever actually pull it off. [I'd like to work on it myself, but im stuck in that "lazy summer" mood right now ;P]

Mario Chat / The Bowser~Koopa Difference

I was just wondering if anyone else can disingish exzactally what's different between [King]Bowser and [King]Koopa. I know Koopa was mostly featured in the old NES classics and in the cartoons, and Bowser in the newer games, and that Bowser is a heck of a lot cooler lookin, but is there anything else I mighta missed/forgot?

^^;; Ok, now u know I'm just a little *too* obsessed with SMRPG...but who can't hate that masterpiece of a game? Anyway, I was just wondering who likes what music/scene for tha game. Mine:

~Music~
1. ENDING PARADE!! ^^ I love it!! All the characters are all kawaii and super deformed, Even Mack and Smithy! ^__________^;;
2. When Dodo "polishes" the statues in Nimbus town ^__^ very funnie...
3. The battle with Bowser [hey, I like anything with Bowser in it]
4. The sunken ship [Creppy.. I love it]
5. Monstro town... ^__^;;
6. Battle with smithy [tha 1st battle] ^_______^
7. Battle with Culex [Did anyone else reconise that that's also in Final Fantasy 2?]
8. The Factory
9. Gaz's scene...when Mario plays as the Bowser doll, and then get's shot in the head ;-;
10. And the battle music for a boss~battle music is always good ^-~

Fav. Scene

hmm.. toughie... I guess out of all the scene's,  ^_^ The one where Bowser is sobbing at booster tower!!! ;-; I feel the pain Bowser.. And my other fav scene is when those Birdies polish "A Plumber's Lament" ^__^.
