Whats up everyone, I'm not sure if anyone remembers me but I haven't posted in awhile lol. I've been messing around with SMS again and I found a couple things. I just uploaded this video showing that its possible to actually kidnap peach yourself (with cheats): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6HjL7hgSOI
I apologize if I'm late and everyone knew about this, but as far as I know there's only one other video on it. So I figured it was obscure enough to still be noteworthy.

I also figured out how to modify a cheat to get any number of shine sprites. From what I've tested, there may have been intended to actually be 122 total, because from 123 on the brightness in delfino plaza resets to 0 so the island literally becomes pitch black. It gradually gets lighter the higher you go up and I'm not 100% sure but it drops again and repeats continuously until 999 (It wont display 1000 no matter what, and it freezes when you get a shine). I might record a video of this if anyone's interested.

Mario Chat / Huge SMA2 level access bug (need help investigating)
« on: July 31, 2012, 03:38:50 PM »
So I found this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rKZXMEU-Hc

Then I found out that you can do this trick anywhere in the game. All you need to to is press select + whatever direction and Mario will walk in that direction regardless of the set path. I tested it in several areas in the game and so far each of them bring you to the bonus room. I'm really not sure why the particular one in the video brings you to the title screen level, but I'm guessing this means that there's more levels that you can access in the game that are hidden. In addition, the particular one in the video is the only one that gives you the select screen with the blank levels, which allows you to go to glitch worlds. I didn't find anything that interesting with this; about 3 of them bring you to the top left corner of the map, one of them freezes the game, one of them brings you to a glitch world with the regular map music, and one is a glitch world with the title screen music. There could possibly be more levels found if I had more people to help me investigate this.

Mario Chat / Super Mario Sunshine - Weird Hidden Title

After being inspired by the hidden toad that was found in the game I decided to play again and this is what I found:

And I didn't say this on the video btw, but it's in the beginning of the game so thats why I don't have FLUDD.

Mario Chat / Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 Moon Jump suggestions?
« on: October 23, 2010, 10:44:25 AM »
Well, I know I haven't been here awhile but last time I was here I had a thread about my SMS hacking. And I mentioned something about an XYZ hack which allows you to go legit anywhere in SMS. I actually got around to putting that code in my AR and yes it is mind blowing (at times). Not trying to brag, but as far as I know there's only about 2 videos on Youtube about it and neither show what you can really do with it. If enough people want to know I'll try to make another video on it.

Anyway, what this thread is really for is for SMG 1 and 2 because I also got around to getting Gecko OS to work on my Wii with homebrew. So basically I can use moon jump in SMG 1 and 2 and go anywhere similar to how I did it in SMS. The only issue is that it's probably less interesting (majority of the levels are planets) but still if anyone has any suggestions I'd like to know what to try and if it's interesting I'll make another video about it.

Yeah, so I made a video of it...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ5wFQp5wYE

The quality is pretty good for being recorded on my phone. Anyway so I bet no one cares but slowly deciphering how the level boundaries work in SMS. Any wall-jumpable invisible wall you can bypass, any wall that is solid you can't, and any wall that half-freezes mario brings you into the "blue-zone". (A variation of the "purple zone". Both are the colors you see when you're under the map. Purple as far as I know is only found in Delfino Plaza and kills you if you stay on it too long, and blue doesn't kill you.) Also, I got pretty far out of bounds in Gelato Beach. I actually almost got to Ricco Harbor FROM Gelato Beach. And I recorded that.

Anyone else have this? I have it for 360. I'm at 4-2 right now...it's an amazing game. Though, it seems more like Zelda then Resident Evil...

Game Help / What actually happens when you beat Luigi's Mansion?
« on: December 31, 2008, 05:50:41 PM »
By beat, I mean complete the game with all gold paintings. I've heard many things but I actually never found out.

Note: I wasn't really sure what section this goes on so bare with me.

Video Game Chat / Call of Duty: World at War
« on: December 26, 2008, 09:40:05 PM »
Anyone else have this game? I just got it. It's my first COD game. It's still pretty hard IMO, and I have it on easy >_<.

The graphics are pretty good, much better then Halo. Right now I'm on the part where you need to kill the Nazi's on that tower. It's the third mission, I think.

Video Game Chat / The Non-Tournament Players Tier List (For Brawl)
« on: October 13, 2008, 02:53:02 PM »
Alright, I'm going to make a basic tier list, and we can debate where each character goes. Instead of it being based on tournaments, its based on how good (or balanced) the character is, in general. While there may be a lot of controversy, hopefully we'll settle on something.

If this isn't in the right section, then please move it.

Well, this is how I picture it:

Top
Marth
Toon Link
Sheik
Captain Falcon
Falco
Lucario

High
Fox
Wolf
Sonic
Luigi
Zelda
Zero Suit Samus
Bowser
Pit (Probably should be lower)
Link
Ganondorf
Jigglypuff *

Middle
Peach * (No idea)
Ike
Mario
Pokemon Trainer *
Samus
Snake
Olimar * (Honestly, I have no idea)
Ness*
Lucas*
Ganondorf *

Low
Yoshi
Ice Climbers
Kirby
Pikachu
Mr. Game & Watch
Meta Knight *
Diddy Kong *
Donkey Kong
Wario
ROB
King Dedede

If I wasn't really sure, I put a * next to it.

Note: Even though there aren't any numbers, they are still in order.

Mario Chat / Totaka's Song in Luigi's Mansion...
« on: September 06, 2008, 06:13:11 PM »
Is the creepiest aspect about this game. You're listening...and all of the sudden you hear the CREEPIEST random drum beat EVER. And then you wait a little while more and you get a very creepy remix of Totaka's song. So...what was your first reaction when you heard it?

Game Help / Resident Evil 4 Help
« on: September 06, 2008, 02:43:09 PM »
This game is pretty fun despite the fact that I can't beat this one part. Well, you know the place where there are 2 levers, and if you pull one of them, one of the entrances opens? And one of them has the giant ogre guy and the other has all of the possessed people. I can't beat the one with the posessed people. I get to the part with the chainsaw sisters, but I usually don't have enough ammo to beat them. (Also, FYI, I'm playing the Wii version)

Video Game Chat / F-Zero Wii
« on: August 20, 2008, 01:43:36 PM »
Does anyone have any suggestions/rumors/theories about it?

I hope its like F-Zero GX for GCN because that one was amazing, and strangely developed by Sega. (Heh, Sonic gave them a few tips?) The only things I didn't like were the uninspired characters, the lack of the Mute City song or any good F-Zero music. (Some of the music was...okay, but the C. Falcon theme song, for example, goes into the Sega cheesiness category.).

Hopefully, if they bring back Story Mode, it won't be so hard. (Not to mention that to get all of the prizes in the game you need to beat the already impossible missions on Hard and even Very Hard.
