Based on resent news:

I'm guessing Charlotte, N.C.will be next.  If so, I lost with my previous bet.

In case anyone missed it:

I know this doesn't help anyone with current college debt, but the future may be brighter...

I completed the survey from my Wii U registration yesterday and got the points.  Maybe you did it during the time that they had problems.  I know my account showed no coins for a while and even showed some things I'd reg'd as not being complete.  Did you simply add the reg code?  If so, I think you need to complete a survey to get the points.  If you did the survey and/or it's not showing up I suggest contacting them about it.  They are generally very easy to work with.  Once I bought a DK classic game that didn't come with a code and they reg'd it for me over the phone.  I also once did not receive a Club Nintendo reward and they simply mailed me a new one (it was shoelaces).

Oh, I wasn't being antagonistic.  I was offering support for your comment.

Regardless, does anyone want to trade any Wii U code for something currently on Club Nintendo?  Also let me know if anything new pops up you want to trade for.

Anyone want to bet nearly all the new rewards will be digital, save for a few cards and posters?
"Dozens of downloadable games and a limited quantity of exclusive reward items will be added to the rewards catalog in February."

For more details see:

I guess I now have to complete these 51 surveys I've been stashing.  Hope they offer more than downloads of titles I already have.  Maybe we should set up a trading thread.

I'm with BP on Galaxy 2. I bought Yoshi's Island though.

"Miyamoto explains that one area in Zelda on Wii U will be the size of the entire map from Twilight Princess, as well as providing new teases for Star Fox and Mario Maker."

I wish they would have shown Miyamoto's reaction when she pulled out her cellphone.  I also wish she hadn't praised the suits in Mairo Kart and instead been hard hitting on Amiibo multi-game compatibility.  At least it wasn't all softball.  At around 14:00 she played a little hardball, but let Miyamoto cop-out.  Also, it was a little funny when Miyamoto didn't wait for a translation and started laughing.

What's your take?

I've been teaching Honors and AP Chemistry at one of the nations best school districts, but may soon be moving (back) to Southern Mississippi.

Video Game Chat / Re: N64 Controller Order

True story--when a bunch of my friends and I went to Chicago in high school, we brought along an N64. We had an all night gaming tournament in the guys hotel room, but first had to buy an RF mod at some random Game Stop type place which I believe was on North Michigan Avenue. I actually was the one who bought this and still have it to this day. I think it cost about ten bucks. The TVs in the hotel rooms back then only had the cable jacks on the back, and the one in this particular hotel room was really tight. We wound up borrowing a set of tweezers from one of the girls' makeup sets and eventually got it hooked up. I don't remember if they had the Lodge Net controller or not.
That reminds me of the E3 trip in which I took a TV to a hotel so we could play GCN.  Good times.

My transparent purple N64 controller and GBC are still two of my favorite Nintendo items.  I'd love to see Nintendo go back to transparent systems and controllers.
