Mario and Luigi probably don't love each other that way. They're brothers, why have an incestual relationship?

And "x" is used to refer to in some media between two names to imply that they have SEXUAL relations depicted at one point. This won't ever happen in the Mario universe.

I don't see what's wrong with this thread. I don't think he really meant for Mario and Luigi to be a couple in the sexual sense.

there's a difference between liking someone and being a couple. say there's a girl that you have a crush on but you're too shy to talk to her, that doesn't make her your girlfriend.
