I like the ending song on Yoshi's Island.  It can help you fall asleep at night if you have it on an SPC player.

Proud to be an American!
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

That was a joke.

I don't know the names of any composers but I do know that the greatest piece of video game music ever made, is the theme to the Casino Nights stages on Sonic 2.

Time slowed and Reality bent.
But on and on the Eggman went.

I like the Sonic 3, and Sonic & Knuckles, music particularly.

"Walk softly and carry a Super Scope."
"At Dukar, we place our emphasis on serving you, supporting
you, and helping you be as successful as possible."

Oho Jee!!

...Sorry, off topic, but I like your sig.  Oho Jee are so amusing.
"I the great Thunderhand!
...no, I the great liar."

And more on-topic, I'd once put lyrics to the Casino Night Zone song, but the only line I can remember now is "Martinis all on us, s'long as you spend your dough."

Chupperson your "I am me" sig was better.
Better, like butter except with an "e".

:Back To The Topic:

Lyrics?!

Please tell me where I can find these lyrics or a version of the song with vocals because I've never even heard of that.

No, there's now version with lyrics.  I'd just made up lyrics to go along with it.

Game music rules. If anybody wants to hear some samples of it, let me know, and I'll upload some MP3s. This is what you have to choose from. If I get too many requests, then I will have to pick and choose among them. Conversely, if I get none, then I will upload nothing.

I think I'm currently in a state of not knowing who my favorite composer is. There's so much good music by so many different people that it can be hard for me to make up my mind. Maybe in the future I'll again have a better idea about that.

If there is a piece of game music that you enjoy, and you would like to know who composed it, then I recommend you take a look at this handy composers list.

The album title links below lead to eBay and to Half.com where these albums can be purchased. Super Mario Compact Disco shows up on eBay about once per year, and the Pac-Man Fever link will take you to the same seller from whom I got my copy.

There's something I forgot to mention. It's unimportant, but I figured that I may as well post it. The above MP3s were encoded with the following specifications:

“Hey, Strong Bad. You jumped over some u’ my busses.”

The weaker you are, the stronger you can become.
