Love is a rose
It's a beautiful thing
The gleaming light
It seems to sing
Hate is a vacuum
It sucked up my soul
I'm in my own prison
With one chance for perole
Love is a rose
It's a beautiful thing
Watch out for it's thorn
Because it can sting
its really matt!

That's very nice
And all well and good
But why did you post it
I don't think you should
because you may see
Upon close inspection
This board is for Mario
Not love reflection

Yeah! What he said...

If you want to post a poem, go to "General Chat".
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

That is nicely done.  Next time to protect myself, I would do something like this.
---------------------------------------------
Mario Bros.

Love is a rose
It's a beautiful thing
The gleaming light
It seems to sing
Hate is a vacuum
It sucked up my soul
I'm in my own prison
With one chance for perole
Love is a rose
It's a beautiful thing
Watch out for it's thorn
Because it can sting
---------------------------------------------
This way it is slightly Mario related

Now, this is my...

Chain Chomp's Rhyme

NOTE: Sometimes, Chain Chomp talks about himself in 3d person.

Chain Chomp is a prisoner
He's a scary thing
He is still biting
When nobody's here
Bowser is the Devil
He sucked up my soul
I am in my own prison
With no chance for freedom
But when someone stays
For 200 or more seconds
The life begins to smile
I'm free just like a person

Four months have passed, and still no one liked that Rhyme... :'(
Well, but now I'm getting it back to life...
Tell me if you like it ;).

I really do like reading the rhyme, cause I suck at writing them when I don't have the time.

It''s hard to save the world when you''re a penguin in wizard clothing.
You didn't say wot wot.

Well, thanks :'). I may make another one... on the future.

Ah, poetry lightens the soul...writing things (poems, short stories, ect.) is my other passion besides video games. I just enjoy writing...

For all things in life,
I discover the kind,
that fill me with contentment,
and lighten my heart.

Well, yeah, this shouldn't have been in the general Mario chat section...

yeah, then you'd have problems walking straight when you're in a tight penguin costume.

maybe somebody can make a poem about dragons and griffins. of course, then we'd have to put it in a fantasy forums section, and I'm too lazy to sign up for another forums section.

Hey, I updated my signature. Tell me what you think of it.

Peaceful penguins, demented dragons and growling griffins, oh my.
You didn't say wot wot.

Demented Dragons?  And why, apparent alliterative advantage aside, do you choose to pair the most negatively-oriented adjective with Dragons?  ::raises an eyebrow questioningly::

What's a griffin'?

geez, I haven't posted in this topic for over four months!

In case you're wondering, I don't use that signature anymore, aside from the fact I plain don't use signatures much anymore.

Anyway, to help explain...

I chose demented because it was the only D word I could think of to pair up with 'dragon.'

Then again, since I've recently had an interest in dragons... dragons aren't demented anymore.

A griffin, sometimes mispelled as gryphon or gryffin, looks like a creature with the body of a lion (I think) and the head of a hawk (a bird). Check a fantasy art site if you're wondering what a griffin looks like...

But now my signature shall be... Something from Galaxy Quest! Hey, I'm out of ideas...

Commander Taggart: Never give up, never...
Everyone else: Oh shut up!
You didn't say wot wot.
