I just started playing Yoshi's Island again, and I was wondering about Kamek...
Was he destroyed in the end of Yoshi's Island, or has he been in any games after that?

I think he is the evil genius behind everything...

He, specifically, has not been in anyother games, but Kammy Koopa, a female Magikoopa, is in Paper Mario.  I think she's either Kamek's daughter or wife, and that Kamek is still around.

Remember the Magikoopa from Mario RPG?  That could be Kamek.

He was in Tetris Attack, and was going to be in Mario Kart 64... but was removed from that. I like to think he's still around, knockin' about the Koopa Castle somewhere.

Ah yes, I forgot he was in Tetris Attack and almost got into Mario Kart 64. Thanks for the reminder.

I heard somewhere where Kamek's name comes from. I forget what the site said, but I think it said something like Kamek means "young turtle" in Japanese. We all know Kamek lives up to that, so that's how he came to be.
