Seems strange that they would release games that you can download to your PC from Steam... for the PC. Will us Steam version users be able to play with the PC version users? Also I suggest everyone see There Will Be Blood.

TEM, you still have to register the retail versions through Steam. It just lets you install from a disc instead of downloading the game (which is why I bought the retail version of The Orange Box instead of purchasing it through Steam).

Yeah, I guess the audience for this is people with PCs that can run Source engine games but have dial-up internet.

I think there are a total of seven of these people.

Also, how are these people supposed to use TF2 anyway? LAN parties?

Ikaruga is awesome. I got frustrated at first because I didn't know how to play, but once I found out about switching my polarity, it was awesome and intense. The boss battle on the first chapter hurt my brain though.

What? That guy's so easy compared to any other boss in the game it's not even funny.

Especially if you stay whatever color he's putting forward so you only have to dodge the easy pattern (but deal half the damage).

Ikaruga is one of the most beautifully balanced game designs I've ever seen. I almost cried when I realized what was going on with the boss we just mentioned.

Built-in difficulty choice FTW.

I was more referring to the fact that there was so much moving brightness at once. He wasn't that hard.

If you don't have Okami for PS2, get it now for Wii!  (R.I.P. Clover)

Also of note, that Mötley Crüe song is premiering on Rock Band. It's never appeared anywhere before. Mad props to the Crüe for supporting the future of listening to music.

I've been playing the European version of Teenage Zombies for a few days now. The wacky "platforming through a comic book" style is pretty cool and somewhat reminiscent of Comix Zone, and the fact that you're playing as three entirely different zombies is awesome. Don't go into the game expecting constant fast-paced action, though - they are zombies, after all.

As you can probably guess, I'm all about Battle of the Bands.

The World Ends With You is a sweet name. No colons or anything!

I've heard Lost Cities is a good card game.

And a full album on Rock Band. :)

P.S. Everyone knows the first post is updated each week, right? That's kind of the point here.
