The guy who wears a padlock around his neck reminds me of Rawk Hawk for some reason.

I have angst because recently people are replying to TWMH topics just to criticize or reject the offer.

Guilty as charged.  :P

The wind was blowing HARD today! Man, California weather doesn't get crazier than this. We've had (not my city personally, but my part of California) hail and snow blow out across deserts. Dust storms. Roofs torn off houses. My city got this huge shower of rain and then it cleared up in a snap! Crazy! I love California weather.

Where is the angst you ask? I was FREEZING my butt off today! It was cold! 52 this morning and then it dropped a bit after I left the house!

Yeah. 52 is really cold to me. :D I'm freezing with any temp below 54.

0_0. Dude, that's nutty. Did you, like, catch a cold or something?

Well, I've had one off and on for the past couple weeks. The rapid weather changes we've been getting is causing it. Fortunately, the sickness has disappeared and it's warm around here now :D. Right now, this morning, it's 57 degrees. That's nice and warm to me.

50 degree weather - wind = nice weather.

Seriously, 50 degrees (or anything from 51 to 59) is NOT cold.

I have ANGST because no one on this page used a temperature scale.  I usually think in Celsius so Pt_Peach's 52 seems really hot to me.  Though she could have ment 52 Kelvin which would be really cold.

I don't get the use of Kelvin.  It scales the same as Celsius, it's just 273 higher.  At least with Fahrenheit it's actually different.  Well, at least I don't have to remember some complicated formula to get it from Celsius...

Luigison: With the exception of Kelvin, I'd be correct either way, because 50 degrees isn't cold in Fahrenheit OR Celsius. :P

Well, I stay on the Fahrenheit scale usually. So when I mention a temperature, unless I say otherwise, I'm measuring on the Fahrenheit scale.

The point of Kelvin is that it makes absolute zero (the lowest possible temperature) actually be 0 degrees, which is neccessary to make the mathematics of the physics work a lot of times. Fahrenheit and Celsius are based off of much less important physical properties (human body temp, freezing/boiling water at Earth atmosphere) but ones that are more apparent in everyday life.
