I am totally serious, PL. Kidney stones for Jim.
No! I don't want that!

Man...I am so sorry.

All I can say is good luck getting rid of them. Those things can be pretty freaking painful.

Whoa. Well, I'm no urologist, so I won't shower you with questionable medical advice and just say... good luck.

I once thought I had kidney stones and looked them up until I realized I didn't and was [darn] lucky not to have them.

I've seen the phrase "for [dukar]s and giggles" used twice on this forum in the last few days, and I must say there's an expression that's never made much sense to me. It sounds less like an explanation for an irrelevant act and more like something a nitrous oxide-laced laxative would cause.

Both by PL. I love that phrase; I first heard it used by this girl back when I went on that theatre trip thing.

What? You don't like that phrase, ShadowBrain?

Nah, it's alright. It's a term my father uses a lot when he's in a silly mood, so it kind of rubbed off on me.

I prefer "shiggles."

I'm rather partial to the above term's expanded form, "gits and shiggles", myself.

Since I don't have a cd drive and a blank cd to write the eeebuntu-2.0-standard.iso file to ... I'm stuck.

I've heard that it could be "imaged" onto a usb drive, but I'm not sure how to proceed in doing that. And when I click on the unetbootin-linux-323 file, it asks me which program would I like to open it with. And that's when I run into a brick wall. >:|
So I'm pretty frustrated right now. >>:|

Oh noes! What could conceivably be worse than being unable to write one's eeebuntu-2.0-standard.iso file to a CD?!

My eeePC with Linux Debian is pure crap, ok? I'm just trying to upgrade it to a new distro: Eeebuntu. But I'm having a hard time doing so.

Lessee here... According to Google, "eeePC" is some sort of miniature laptop-like thing. A "distro" is a bundle of software which is often distributed by companies, hence the name. "EeeBuntu" is an operating system for the eeePC. An "operating sysem" is an important something on most computers.

Thanks again, internet!
