My copies of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey and Mega Man Zero Collection were both sealed and were both purchased at GameStop in the past few months. Nice try.

Maybe they don't unwrap DS games? All the disc games at least are unwrapped at my local GameStop.
That was a joke.

My copy of Devil Summoner 2 is still sealed, but I suppose that might be a special case since it's the special edition and they keep those behind the counter anyway.

While Gamestop is notorious for selling opened or gutted games as new, it's not true that all or even most are not sealed. Your store maybe something of an exception, but I assure you most Gamestops still sell actual new games.

That said, don't shop at Gamestop.

My moral obligation to avoid that place is on par with Wal-Mart.

GameStop doesn't even exist here. It's all about EB Games, baby.

I do have to go to GameStop when nowhere else around has the obscure games I'm looking for.

Black Mage: Maybe my store is just weird, I don't know. When I went there for a day 1 copy of Fragile Dreams they had just gotten the shipment unpacked and already had opened game boxes on the shelf. Mine has a light scratch on the front cover from them opening it and I was kind of annoyed by this.
That was a joke.

Are you serious?

When I can walk into a 7-11, a Big Lots, a Rite-Aid, a pawn shop, and even a small merchants tent and always find a rack of games, I find it incredibly hard for you to claim shopping at a non-GameStop location is too much hassle.

Also, Warp I never got your Princess Debut game you wanted :(
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Because of where I live, GameStop is the closest store of any sort that sells video games.

Also, I never got you your Fire Emblem game, so that's fine. I'll just have to deal with not owning a Cave-developed Ouendan clone/dating sim.

Gas stations and drug stores sell video games where you live? That is totally amazing news to me.
I mean, they might sell Wii shovelware here, but that's the max.
That was a joke.

Umm yeah basically.

I found Princess Debut and Gunstar Super Heroes at Rite-Aid, Geometry Wars and Metal Slug Anthology at Big Lots, and from what I've heard, 7-11 broke the street date for Super Street Fighter IV and Red Dead Redemption, though I've never seen them at mines. I did see Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and the original Gears of War near the one by my old apartment though.
