Those are called custom titles (CTs). You cannot directly change them. The mods/admins hand them out based either on your behavior or just when they feel like it. Talking about them will often get you a dumb, sarcastic CT.
This new signature just points to the fact that I've only gotten 1 custom title! Huzzah!

Just for this post I'm probably bound to get a custom title now!

...Just for that last line of text I'm bound not to get a custom title now...

^ "The following statement is true: The previous statement was false."

Not really..

...

Care to enlighten?
Oh, it's just that one dumb urban legend where the babysitter, or whoever, keeps getting these creepy phone calls, so she calls the cops, and they're like, "we've traced the calls--they're coming from inside the house"... and then whoever tells you the story decides the ending there.

Oh, I forgot to mention my new signature. It appears in most Michael Crichton novels of late.

Use this mode to shoot fireworks.

--From the manual of my new camera. Of course, what is meant is that the Fireworks mode should be used when shooting pictures of fireworks. But the pithy wording of the sentence can be taken in more than one way.

"Vintage party dress feels like Satan!"

This is from an eBay lot for a satin party dress.

...what does Satan feel like, anyway?
No! I don't want that!

My new sig is a terribly Babelfish'd question that came off the top of my head. It was something along the lines of "What happens when a person loses The Game, but then subsequently wins by default due to the death of all other people? Such are the predicaments of life." I got it by translating from English to Korean and back again.

New sig. I woke up today and felt rather cynical about life.
