That's not a glitch. All the magazines, such as Nintendo Magazine System, made a point of saying "If you complete it without warps, you get a bonus world". It's weird, but easy. And it proves you completed the game properly!

Incidentally, does anyone else agree with me that Lost Levels is a piece of cake? Really easy.

It should have been SMB2
SMB2 is not a real mario game.
Doki Doki Panic has anybody played that I mean the real japanese one.
just a few changes but I like to think of it as a none mario game so I can hate it and not feel bad :)

Even though I'am one of the Best Video game players at my school I'm still not very good at em.... like i love em to death in all and i play in non stop but i only have like 70 stars on mario 64, I have never beat Super Mario bros. 3 or Super Mario lost levels. Well you cant out rule the fact that i am 10 and most of you who have beaten those games are older then me.
