I was born in 1996. And was already bored.

Wow, you were only about a year old when Deezer created this site.

I'm still weirded out by people who are about as old as the site itself. O_O

I think what was weird was coolkid, who is younger than TMK.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

I'm glad I was inactive during the visitation of that Crazy Newbie to these forums.

Well, I wouldn't consider him a newbie, just a little kid who acted like a kid in a forum. Well, mabye he then is a newbie.

He wasn't just a newbie, which is a new person, he was a n00b, which is someone who knows nothing about nothing.

So he knew everything?

No, because the second use of "nothing" there is as a noun. So, n00bs don't know what "nothing" is.

n00bs are also ignorant, as well as really bad typists.

But they contain unharnessed energy that taps into the vast knowledge of the farthest outer reaches of the infinitest planes of existance!

But nobody knows how to harness it, so that doesn't matter.

If you ever do manage to harness that energy, please let me know.  I could use that technique to tap into my sibling's (who is NOT from the 90's) energy resource....

When did the word n00b come into existence anyway?

I think someone was abbreviating newbie as newb, and then that got 1337ified into n00b, which degraded over time into a derogatory term.

The '90s had at least TWO nines in the date at any given time. Take that, 1800s!

Another reason the '90s rocked: I was born in '92. That alone makes 1992 the best year ever ever ever.
