Brings back memories of when I Got my PS1, back when the PS2 came out. I have a lot of memories of playing Crash Team Racing, the Net Yaroze games that came on OPM (official playstation magazine) cover disks, and THEME PARK WORLD!

WAY too soon for that, don't you think? Wait another 4 or 5 years and then maybe.
The next time we get a SMB remake, let's have a level editor! you know, when you make your own levels and play them. Very possible on the DS, though the last SMB remake, I think, was just on the GBA... If it were on the DS you could send your levels on wifi.
I mentioned that in a previous post in this topic. A level editor on the GBA would be horrible (try The Tower SP game, it's a GBA port of Sim Tower and shows just how awful things like this are with a D-pad and buttons). The DS would make it much better with the touch-screen: maybe there could be a view on the bottom screen and an overview map of the level on the top, pressing L or R for example swaps them to select another part quickly in a big level. Until then, though, we'll just have to see what Nintendo does..

Um...WHY was this topic started? Every topic being started now is either "OMG PS3 sux cuz its expesniv and i want the rev and xbox360!!!!!" or "OMG PS3 sux cuz its expesniv and i want the rev and xbox360!!!!! but im sick of the ps3 rumers". And every reply is always "OMG i hate the 360 and ps3 cuz ther not nintdeno!!!!! everyone elz sux!!!!! :) XD XP O_o LOL! :V]:|" (except without all that) It's really getting tiring. This is a Mario forum. Everyone knows you support any Nintendo system and dispise any Sony system; that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion. But don't make a new freaking topic to say what everyone else has been saying!

By the way, that last emoitcon is a person wearing a container hat with an alligator in it.
I'm an exception: I don't hate Sony systems, it's just I'm becoming seriously disappointed with the PS3. I have an old PS1 which was the first console I ever played and one of the best gaming experiences I had. On the other side, I have a PSP which I not enjoyed at all due to the bad build quality of the hardware, sub-par games and awkward menu system. Not to mention the price of everything. This is why I support Nintendo. (Also, I don't like the Xbox/Xbox 360 because they're basically computers with some custom hardware.)

Mario Chat / Re: Getting Easier?

Welcome to the forums, Jouw. CC stands for cubic centimeter, which is used as a measurement of engine size. Larger ones are more powerful.

Also, you need 25 posts before you can post topics. But please don't make useless spam posts until then.
Okay, thanks.
I always found the GP's hard. MKDS is worse, considering none of the starting 4 cups have 4 courses that I like. All of them have one or two courses that I hate.
I prefer to play in the VS, Battle and Time Trial modes though.

I never really understood the CC thing.
I hope New SMB is just as difficult as SMB or SMB3: those provide a challenge, but they're not overly easy. Also, I hope there are mid-world savepoints: completing 10 levels without saving isn't going to be easy..

Edit: Also, this is off-topic, but I can't find anywhere else to put it. How come I can't post in most of the forums, unless I reply to another post?

Site Discussion / Re: More Cameos NOT Included

Another Nintendogs cameo: There is a Rubber Mushroom item that looks just like the SMB1 NES mushrooms.
Also, I'm not sure if this counts but in the Second Hand shop after the messagebox on the top screen clears and you can see the 3D render of the shop, there is what looks like a Question Block sitting at the back.

I support Revolution. I think the PS3, with all the "features", will cost way too much to be viable for anyone but the rich gamer, or those who save up for ages to get one. Looking at how Nintendo is going with the new controller, Virtual Console, great look of the controller and console itself I think it will be the most popular. Especially with how it seems to be released with a much lower price than 360 or PS3. Go Nintendo :)

My ideas are:
1. New Super Mario Bros should have a level editor.
2. More of the NSMB series like New Super Mario Bros 3, New Super Mario World, New Yoshi's Island, etc, featuring the same overall theme of the original game.
Also, if Nintendo wants NSMB to be like SMB (without yoshi, flying, etc) then why are all these things from later Mario games there? Why can Mario walljump? Why are there Banzai Bills and fire-spitting Piranha Plants?

- Jouw, Banzai Bill hater...

General Chat / Re: New/Returning Members Post Here!

I'm new here. Been a fan of the Mario series ever since I found I could play Mario games on an emulator. Some time later, looking for a manual for Super Mario All-Stars, I found TMK. Been here (but not at the forum) for a few months already... :) Yet having played every one of the 2D Mario sidescrollers (except for Super Princess Peach, a picture with Peach in a hole covered by a Chomp changed my mind about getting it - those things scare me!), I haven't beat any, and I absolutely detest Super Mario World.
