Game Help / Mario Baseball

I just think Mario Baseball is a bit too difficult. I would like help in hitting. I haven't won a single game so far since I can't hit! I haven't scored any home runs. I tried the (HOLD+RELEASE A button) for a stronger hot, to no avail. The computer fielders keep getting my fly balls, and I often get into double/triple plays on flyouts. It sees the CPU has an unfair advantage.

In Mario Kart: Double Dash, the only game (so far) in which a junior version of Luigi is playable, who do you prefer? I prefer the junior Luigi over the classic adult Luigi because of his handling and small size. Also his car (Rattle Buggy) is cute and has good acceleration and handling.
