A request was made on this board for a 3D version of SMB.  I started world one in DarkBASIC and have a pic at

Yeah, it is a cool picture. But, how do you do it? I have Dark Basic, and I find it very confusing!

It's not that hard. I'm just learning DBPro now, and I'm trying to make a game I could eventually sell(of course I'd need to get rid of all the ripped graphics then and get an artist to replace them!). Here's what it is so far. It supports up to 4 human players, with 8 players possible through using computer players(the screen will only splits into 4 sections). Here it is so far.

Dark Basic? I don't think I've ever heard of that before. Is it a game making program or is that just something you can do with it?

Read more about it at http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/

It is a BASIC programming language that is designed with game making in mind.  It has special commands for sprites, 3d objects, cameras, etc.  It can also do anything that other versions of basic like Visual Basic and Q Basic can do.

Since I go back to school tomorrow and students come back on next Tuesday, my games may be on hold for a while.

Just in case you're wondering, here are some screenies of my other, more developed game. It's a remake of Mario Bros.(with online play support!)

If somebody makes a Mario computer game thread, they asked for it.
