Go Link! I think he's a really easy person to use in SSB, but I use varied characters...each definetly has his or her own weaknesses and strengthes...

*ahem* Back to Super Smash Bros. Mellee...

My favorite in the first was Link, so he'll probably be towards the top of my list. But, since I like to play as all the characters (including Jigglypuff), I'm going to say that other potential Top Fighters in "Melee" will be Bowser (he's gonna rock), DK (he was great in the first), and Sheik (She's gonna fight like Link--I can just sence it!)

In the first one, I was great with Luigi. My favorite video game character is Mario, but I'm better on the game with Luigi (probably because special moves are easier to do than smashes). So I'd be Luigi, if he returns.

I read in EGM a direct quote from the leader of the Sonic Team reguarding SSBM.

The bad news: he definetly won't be in Super Smash Bros. Melee. :(

The good news: he said it is very possible he will be in the NEXT Smash Bros. I mean, I know it's a ways away concidering Melee isn't even out yet, but just the fact that the Sonic Team leader stated that it is a possiblity is really cool in my book!! :D

I thought that Ness was the best in the first one, but in Melee I'm going with Bowser. Also, from the screenshots it looks like you can be Mr. Saturn, is this true?

No, I heard from my sources (*cough* IGN *cough*) that Mr. Saturn was some sort of attack or something to that extent for Ness as Toad appears to be Peach's weapon.
The best for me would have to be Mario or Yoshi, my two best characters.
