I cant wait for the new Mario Kart:Super Circuit to come out, but what about the one for Nintendo's gamecube?
That game has the potential for the best racing/mario game ever! Sweet graphics makes for awsome characters and tracks plus all new music and the whole deal!

One flaw that the older( and im sure,GBA MK:SC will have too) mario kart games had was a small character list. 8 players is too few. A game like Mario Kart should have at least 16, like Mario tennis did.
Here is a list of characters that i would like to see in a mario Kart game:

Mario(of course)
Luigi
Peach
Daisy
Bowser
Wario
Waluigi
Toad
Donkey Kong
Yoshi
Birdo
Wart
Shy Guy
Koopa Troopa
DK jr.
Pauline(need more female characters)

of course, some would be secret characters.

Yeah, I'm a huge Mario Kart fan, and I can't wait for the new installments. But you're right, there definitley needs to be a boost in the character list. I don't really like how Koopa Troopa was just a generic Troopa though. There was nothing special about him. . . that's like having a human character named Person. Anyway, here's my dreamcast for Super Duper Mario Kart Cubed:

Regular Characters:
-Mario
-Luigi
-Wario
-Donkey Kong
-Kamek= He was going to be in Mario Kart 64! Why did he get taken out?!?! AARRRGGH!
-Peach

The only character I'd like to see return is Koopa Troopa, ever since I found out that Koopa was replaced by Wario. Koopa Troopa was a lightweight (my fave class of drivers) and Koopas are also cute. But NOOO, Mario Kart Super Circuit does not include Koopa Troopa. Guess we'll have to wait for Mario Kart GameCube...

I agree with penguinwizard, in order to have a successful mario kart game, Koopa Troopa must be a character. He was awsome, although plain. If he isnt in the Gamecubes Mario kart, then i will be really upset. When was the last time one got to play as Koopa Troopa?

Well, Wario is one of my all-time favorite video game characters, so I'm going to have to go with Wario. Yeah, Koopa Troopa's absence was a bummer in Mario Kart 64, but the addition of Wario more than makes up for it.

Your right. Putting wario in the MK64 and GBA's MK: SC makes up for Koopa Troopas absence. But i still wish he would come back.

Earlier development of MK for the 64 had Magikoopa as a player. he was later re-placed by Donkey Kong though.
Wouldnt it be cool to play as MagiKoopa?

Isn't too surprising that Yoshi's my favorite for the Mario Kart series. And to boot, since he's a lightweight, the only type of character I use anyway, i'm able to get the fastest times and such.
