Well, we now know, from Yoshi's Story and the like, that vwee-voomp is not Yoshi's voice. Well what is it then? The sound his saddle makes when pressure is applied onto it.

It only happens when people sit on him. And once, in the cartoon, when his back banged against something, it made that sound.

actually its both part of it is mario sitting
on him and yoshi makeing a sound because when yoshi makes a normal noise it kind of sounds like it

I guess much like Mario's "Boing!" jumping sound, Yoshi's "vee-voh" sound is just a sound effect. Once it was possible, Mario said "Whoo!" and "Yipee!" when jumping instead of "Boing". We have yet to see (or hear) Mario ride Yoshi on a console capable of having Yoshi say something instead of "vee-voh".

It's complicated... you won't understand it...

"frostbite" isn't really 'from' anywhere, it's more like just the fact that someone gets frostbite.

Not even I understand what that means.

Yoshi's make different noises,somtimes a Lion growls sometimes it Roars. Vwee-Vwoomp is just one of Yoshi's sounds in his ( very limited)vocabulary.

Actually in the cartoons he could talk I agree it has something to do with yoshi's back I think it is pressurized noise I agree with Frostbite here but the noise sounds like yeeeeyaaaa.

It cna't be the thing on the ack. In MArio Party, he makes that noise all the time without being touched! He obviously can speak english, but only in text bubbles.
