5. PM: Boss fight against Tubba Blubba's Heart
4. TA: Title screen
3. SMRPG: Boss fight against a member of the Smithy Gang (Mack, Bowyer, Yarid, etc.)
2: SMB: The original Mario theme, only sung in the "Mario Twins" style...
1. YI: Fort/Castle level song

2) Paper Mario ending theme
1) Water theme mix from the title screen to the All-Stars version of Lost Levels (confusing, I know)

I probably could have made it more specific but I'd have to buy a bunch of soundtracks, since I have so many favorites.

im a sucka, i traded my paper mario for harvest moon 64, and im sick of harvest moon, and homesick for papermario, am i an idiot or what? i also traded out sm64, how stupid can ya get?

Maybe not in order. But I like these 5...

1) SMB The original first level 1-1 music is classic.
2) SMRPG at the end when you are fighting Smithy (Both at the top and after they fall). I also like the Culex music in that game which doesn't count, but if it did, I would say it's my fave overall.
3) SM64 When you fight Bowser the first two times. I like that better than his final music. But I like that too. Just not as much.
4) SMW Fortress music is really creepy and cool.
5) SMB2 The end credits and scene music.

Also

6) The music from 4-1 in Mario Land. The Japanese oriental sounding one.
7) Yoshi's Story, the last level music. Haunting.
8) Rainbow Road in Mario Kart 64.

I especially love most from these games:

Yoshi's Island
Yoshi's Story
Super Mario RPG
Much of Mario Kart 64

Actually, I love it all. Koji Kondo is a genius. And whoever else does music for Nintendo.

Do they have to be songs in Mario games, or just songs about Mario?

'Cause I've got two songs that I like that aren't in games but are still Mario songs.

1. Do the Donkey Kong
2. the song that's about mario wanting to finish SMB so he can intercourse peach
3. Do the Mario sung by Lou Albano

And the remaining 2 go to in-game songs.

4. Luigi's Mansion theme (Luigi humming)
5. Paper Mario extended Title Screen Music
