I'm getting a distorted screen on Super Nintendo.  The selection screens is ok but I get a distorted screen when it starts the race and everything is frozen.  Any help would be appreciated.

I cleaned the cartridge and game unit.  Still get distorted screen.  Other games play okay.

Has it ever looked right on that TV? If not, then it might just be too old to display the proper resolution. If it used to work, maybe your TV is going out.

Either that, or your mode 7 is messed up.
All SNES games have the same resolution, and that wouldn't even matter on a TV.
If your games that just use sprites work fine, your SNES's mode 7 stuff is blow'd up.
Do other mode 7 games run fine on your SNES?
