It's called the warp Whistle, buddy. I would say that maybe there is some way to do it in Game Gene.

I think there's 3 warp whistles. In 1-3, crouch in the white platform to walk behind the black. In world 1-fortress, fly over the end of the first room. In world 2, use a hammer to smash the rock at the top right part of the map. Then kill the fire bros.
