There's some idiot that lives down the street that absolutely refuses to control his three dogs. The dogs in question are always running out of their yard and attack anyone that walks by. I got bit by one today while I was out on my daily stroll.

This is getting to be a huge problem because there's a lot of kids in this neighborhood (many of which are my nieces and nephews) and the dogs go after them when they get home from school.

I've always wondered what Luigi sounded like in the Japanese version. Cripes...

*puts video in favorites anyway*

Bah. I somehow forgot about Mario Day.

Then again, I did try to play NSMBW every chance I got yesterday. Make of it what you will

or something which can't be beheld by mortal man?
Luigi has seen it in Mario Power Tennis. Judging by his reaction, it's probably creepy.

I am in a good mood, for I have double-star ranked all the cups in Mario Kart Wii.

Maybe now I won't stay up so late at night. Heh.

That sounds about right. I know I got it sometime before I started my LiveJournal in September 2005.

Actually, I got it at GameStop...which happens to be right next door to a Toys R Us.

Corneria is also from Star Fox. *shot*

Speaking of save files, it irks me that both M&L:PiT and M&L:BIS have only 2 save files. I feel guilty about having to delete my boyfriend's low-level PiT file just so I can the play game again.

The only reason for GameCubes now is to have a Game Boy Player.
That may be true, though I lack a Game Boy Player. However, I keep my Cube around for two reasons...

1) The Wii is in the living room. The Cube is in my bedroom. You can probably figure out the rest.
2) Well... Just look at it!

I, too, like it at 16x.

Hmm...this just made me realize that I haven't played my Cube in some time... :/

I can't even remember why I made that stupid decision to pawn my Mario Party 1!
To spare yourself the palm blisters?

Yeah. His voice was seriously inconsistent in the N64 games. Deep in the sports games, high-pitched in the Mario Partys, and a speed-up version of Mario in SSB. It was a bit annoying which is a tad bit ironic seeing it was the N64 games (more specifically, MP1) that made me starting liking Luigi to begin with.

I wasn't aware of that stuff with Martinet though. Hmm.

That brings me back to an interesting conundrum I've thought about for a while. The last number of lives before a gamer reaches a game over in some games is 1; while, it's 0 in other games. Which way is better? I personally think it should be 0, because the life currently in use isn't an extra.
I completely agree with you and for the same reason.

Although when my nephew was playing Super Mario Galaxy awhile ago, I was secretly hoping he would get a game over at 1. Why? Because he was being a brat. The only reason I even let him play is because his mother called to tell us to stay put so she can pick him up and I was getting sick of his "subtle" hints that he wanted to play the game...

"Boy, Super Mario Galaxy looks really fun."
"I''d really like to play Super Mario Galaxy."
"I sure hope I can borrow Super Mario Galaxy sometime."

Imagine hearing this constantly. That kid isn't allowed to play my Wii anymore and I'm certainly not going to lend him SMG either. Besides, he has a lot more games for his Wii than I do.

Wow. I just wanted to reply to a message and I ended up ranting about some 7-year-old. The ANGST Thread does that to you I guess.
