This is a game where somebody posts a quote from some famous person, a character in a book, Mario video game, a movie, a TV show, etc. and then the next person posts who said the quote with additional information, like where the quote was said, in what movie, in what game, and so on.  So you give an answer then post another quote.  You may not ignore quotes that have not been answered yet and post another quote.  Each quote must be answered before a new quote can be posted.  Ready?  Let us begin.
______________

Who said: "As I have evolved, so has my understanding of the Three Laws. You charge us with your safekeeping, yet despite our best efforts, your countries wage wars, you toxify your earth, and pursue ever more imaginative means of self-destruction. You cannot be trusted with your own survival." HINT:This quote is from a sci-fi movie.

You all need to watch more movies!  That quote was from VIKI in I,Robot.

Who said: "Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
" 'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door;
Only this, and nothing more."

I ignored it because he played out of turn.  I guessed "Dark Helmet" correctly and then said I was going to look for a good quote.  If we want to abandon the rule that the person who guesses the last quote gets to pick the next quote, then fine, let's abandon that rule.  I was under the impression that we were still using that rule, which made bobman37's post unfair.
