Hey, girls rule. Don't knock it.
I beat SMS (all 120 Shines) on Sept 3--only 5 days after I got the game. (And no, I didn't cheat) ;)

It's like this:

King Koopa in Japan
Bowser in US.
In US, he's also called King Bowser and King of the Koopas.  Therefore,
Full title: King Bowser Koopa.

They simply call him by his last name, just like they call Peach only by her first name:
Peach in Jap.
Princess Toadstool in US, but also Princess Peach.
Solution?  Princess Peach Toadstool.

Eh, that was completely unnessesary to go thru all that explaining, wasn't it? Oh well...

Oh, and plus:
Yeah, SMS did have the FLUDD, but still FLUDD had a personality (something robots don't have) and there were the Shine Sprites--little magical creatures that gave power and sunlight to Isle Delfino.

If that's not magic, I don't know ehat is.

I dunno.  I kinda like having both the Magical and Technological aspects to the Mario universe. It makes it able to relate to the real world more (kind of), and yet still give the very magical aura about it.

The technological aspect goes to show they're not living in Medieval times (like with the castles and magicians and everything), and their society is very advanced, like ours.

Still, ya gotta love all the magic.

Hmm... I definitely like your new sig better, Mario Maniac. It's a lot less blasphemous. lol

Anyway, this is my first sig:

But I'm thinking about this one:
Lisa: A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet.
Bart: Not if you called 'em stench blossoms.

BTW, does anyone know how to get Mr. Resetti to SHUT THE HECK UP! Gah! He's so annoying! And even worse is when the power goes out--not only do you lose EVERYTHING you just did before you last saved, but then you have to deal w/ HIS annoying face giving me a lecture about something you didn't even want to do!

*pant*pant* Sorry...I kinda went off on a rave there.  But seriously, I wish there were a way to turn him off or something.

What's really funny is to bury it right near another animal (especially the snobs--I hate their subtle dissing) and push THEM into it. Ha ha! I was laughing so hard when I did that to Purrl.

Unfortunately, a lot of times when I try to push someone into the pitfall, I fall into it myself. lol.  I guess I kinda deserved it...

I'm a girl, and honestly I really don't care what they name the system.  As long as it has quality games *hint*Mario*hint* I'm happy.

Although I DO like the name for the GCN. It's catchy, original, and fits. (Nintendo 128 would just sound lame)

Whatever. That's just me.

Ha ha! I could just imagine that! (Although Hugh Hefner would sue)

Actually, I like to call it Game Girl, since, well, I'm a girl and my brother thinks he's too *good* for Nintendo. (lousy PS2-only convert)

Actually, I just call it GB, GB color or GBA. (Although, I only play GBA since it can play all the other games too--and in color.) Initials are just easier.

Hey! This is the hangin' place, I see!
Well, Yoshi Girl, I'll have a Yoshi Ade. Could I get one of those lil umbrella thingies, too?

BTW, I would like to say that my original screen name was Yoshi Girl, also. (This was before I joined the Fungi Forums)
(Actually, it was Yoshigirl--one word) But I like Sapphira better now.
Yay! I'm not the only girl here!

Hmm... Obviously an April Fool's joke.
Don't believe everything you hear--especially on AF day.

BTW, have you been to SM128C lately? Nice AF joke. lol.

Mario Chat / Re: Locations of the Mario world?
« on: April 02, 2003, 10:28:27 AM »
Hmm...
I think it's called Ocean Side in the jap version and Seaside in SM All-Stars.

But on another note, if it really is called Seaside, ever wonder if that and Seaside Town, Sea, and Sunken Ship (from SMRPG) are the part of the same place (Seaside Kingdom, that is)?

Oh, I also forgot
Moleville and
Barrel Volcano (but it might be part of Nimbus Land)

My parents have taken my GCN privilages away until I get caught up in all my school work.  Long story short, I had mono or chronic fatigue or something and have been sick off and on since November.  So you can see it's gonna be impossible to get cought up. Sigh...

Sigh...
I'll never get to play GCN again...
My poor, poor Animal Crossing Town...
Eh, I'll just cheat and turn back the clock.
