Mario Chat / Re: Mario Bros. Online

This is an excellent game. I am addicted XD

One pet peeve though: The pipes are set up wrong. In the original Mario Bros., when the enemies would go into a pipe at the bottom, they would go to the pipe directly above them, making it so that they could alternate directions. In this, though, the enemies come out the pipe they started at. I don't know if this is intentional, but it annoyed the heck out of me in the first few levels. Also, I noticed that when you jump fairly close to a ledge, you hit an invisible block. You can also stand on this invisible block sometimes.

That aside, I love this game, though I think it would be even more awesome with unlockable characters for multiplayer mode, like Luigi, etc. XD

You should write some music to go with it and have someone rap it.

Unlock a whole slew of Nintendo Characters in SM64! (based off of the severe DKCII glitch found by David Wonn, where you could become Klubba)

Enter Bo-bomb Battlefield and choose the first star. Make your way to the top, where the King Bo-bomb is. Fight him, and pick him up. Throw him slightly over the edge, and jump off to grab him again. This time, though, it will look like he is resting on your legs. Find a nearby wall, and hold him up against it. Now throw him, press ABCupCdownCleftCrightRLZStart, and catch him as he flies back at you. He will explode and you'll be holding a ghost of him that is twice his original size. Jump off of the mountain exactly onto the middle of the flower patch that contains the 1UP. Now, make you way to the first portal on the mountain. Warp to the top. The ghost will be three times the original size. Make it to the very top of the mountain, and you will find the pole that appears when you race Koopa the Quick, but with a large sign that says, "ZOMG[wtd]BBQ! ZOMG[wtd]BBQ!" on it instead of the star. Throw the ghost at the sign. Depending on where you hit the sign, different things may happen. First, your "score" of how close to one of the edges will appear. If you're lucky and managed to hit the very tip of one of the edges (right works better), Mario will go blue, and morph into Klubba. Depending on your score, though, you can get characters ranging from Samus from Metroid to Ralph from Rampage: World Tour. Of course, about 89.314156925% of the time, the game will irrecoverably destroy all of your game data in SM64, and make the cheat impossible to do again. if you get it right the first time though, there is a character select at the start of your game (whee fun!), and you can do the cheat without any problems afterwards.

The real HBP was a bit suprizing, but it made complete and total sense after you find out. The major character that died was pretty suprizing, but I  had thought that he would die in the 7th book anyway.

I just got the book and I am going to start reading it as soon as I am done making the Yoshi('s Island) Secret 1 level in my ZZT Super Mario World game.

Oh yes, I forgot one of my all time favorites in Super Mario Bros. 1. World 18-1, or I-1. I accessed VIA three Game-Genie codes in the SMB Cheats area of the site, two which I kept the same and the third which I took apart so it could be used to access other levels. What it is is a very, VERY glitched up version of World 3-3 that manages to still keep its stability. I have a DOC file that covers many of these "lost levels" in detail, but I have to find it. Another is World 9-1, a highly unstable underwater 6-2. There is also another highly unstable level that is an overworld 3-4, but I forget what World it is...

If I recall correctly, it was not the Japanese who thought it was too hard for us Americans, but Nintendo America.

Hey, I liked the movie :(. The trick is to NOT think it should be exactly like the video game.

Where and how did you die in 4-2? The only *difficult* place I can think of is at the start, with those nasty jumps, but I have seen people with other problems (chasing Mushrooms off of ledges, etc XD). If you ever have problems in a level, I can help with many of them up to 7-4. In fact, as soon as I find a way to film NES movies into AVIs (hate emulator movies, you always need the exact rom, gah), I will begin filming them to show off XD

Mario Chat / Re: New SMB3 glitch + SMW2 Yoshi's Island Glitches
« on: June 28, 2005, 11:02:22 PM »
Hmmm... reminds me of a glitch I found while playing Super Mario World. Go to Vanilla Dome 2, and get to the part with the 1UP and the cape. Get the cape, and get the 1UP if you want. Now, go past the Fire Flower block, but don't get it. Allow the first Chargin' Chuck to break the blocks and pass you, and then charge up a run to the right, fly until you see the next Chargin' Chuck, and hold right to pound the ground. Hopefully, you killed him before he charged any of the blocks. An alternate way to do this is if you start at the half-way point, you can go left before the second Chuck charges, kill the first one, and then do this. Anyway, to the actual glitch. Start doing short jumps, spinning your cape, and holding right like mad against the spinning blocks by the half-way point. After doing this for a while, Mario will be pushed INTO the wall. It is kinda fun to mess around in there, and if you want out, go right until you are near where the POW block is, go right as far as possible, and jump out. Or, go left as far as possible, and jump out through the slope. This is kinda usless, but it is fun!

aww PaperLuigi got Mario is Missing first :'([/sarcasm]

Anyway I always loved Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, mainly because of the size of them and all the little secrets and minigames.

Yes, that is actually the main reason I asked, other than I hadn't heard it before. I have finished the game before, but I am not allowed to have the volume up for some stupid reason, so that is why I didn't recognize it.
