Mario Chat / Cape in SMB3??

I don't know whether this is common knowledge or not, but in an offical movie from Nintendo, it shows Mario flying with a cape!

At about 48 seconds into the movie, you can see Mario taking off with a Cape, complete with sound effects from both SMB3 and SMW!

So, do you think Nintendo will release the Cape power-up on a new release of E-Reader cards? Only time will tell.

This was originally meant for my TMK game, but I can't do that, so here goes-

Introduction- Wendy's Game

Lemmy was sitting at his computer. It was late at night. The TV was blaring in the background, with Morton asleep on the couch- it didn't really help with all of the couch commercials on the box. There was a knock at the door. Lemmy opened it- and it was Wendy. "Lemmy! I'm glad you're still up! I got the game!" Lemmy could barely contain himself. "How much?" he whispered. "70 Koopabits!" she replied. They opened Wendy's handbag. "Put it in!" Lemmy hissed. Wendy did, and there was a quiet sound as the KDSS (Koopa Dual Screen System) started up. The title screen flashed up- 'Welcome to Super Deezer Bros! Press Start to Play! They started playing. But, how did Deezer's name get on a game box- and in the Koopa Kingdom? And, how did Deezer manage to be known in the Koopa Kingdom? Find out more, in the first chapter of- Mario and TMK Unite!!

Is there a way to edit SMW levels by not using Emulators? Don't ask me why, but I have some kind of issue against emulators.

This idea came to me when I saw the old thread 'Super TMK World'. I've got some great ideas, and they can't wait to get out!

What you've got to do this time is choose a character, like all RPG's. But wait! Then, you have to start your own fanfic, using your character (and no-one elses unless you agree to work on it together), and many others! I choose Luigi, and my fanfic is starting now... (Oh, and if somebody wants to use Mario, but he's in a story already and he's not the main character, then you can take him, but only if he's a main character.)

LUIGI

The lanky brother opened his eyes. His clothes were torn, and he was in a mysterious forest. He stood up. He looked around. "I've been here before... I think." he thought. He was in the Forest of Illusion-- but he didn't know that. "Yeah," he told himself, "I've been here with my Brother. But who--" He sat down. He couldn't remember anything. Now, he had to go on a quest through the Forest of Illusion, to defeat the evil forces at work-- and to piece together his past, so he could save his future.

What is the difference between Yoshi's House and Yoshi's House in the Fall? Also, is that the 'huge' surprise you get for beating Special World? I've beaten the  Special World, and have 92 exits. Oh, and I'm using SMA2. Please help!

What memories do you have of the Fungi Forums? Is there anyone that you miss? Anything like that; and some of my memories are below:

- When I first joined, I was sort of like Jon. I was a bit stupid, and I think I needed to be a lot more mature.
- I also remember my first post; it was a thread called 'Why does Australia get games last'. Yoshi the Great started that one up.

There are many others I can't think of, but they'll come to me.

Also, on a completely unrelated topic, are banned members counted on the counter on one of the main pages?

Here's my fanfic, Super Mario RPG: Shadow Star Quest. Enjoy!!

Introduction

Mario had the photo in his fingers. It was a picture of him, Luigi and Yoshi. A single teardrop fell from the stocky plumber's royal blue eyes. "I will get revenge," he vowed. He stood up, off the carpeted staircase in the foyer of Peach's Castle. He dropped the photograph. The frame shattered. He curled his hands into fists. Bowser had taken his friends away from him, and he had to avenge their deaths. 'But', he thought to himself, 'I am the fool-- who left Luigi to fight the Magikoopas? Who let Yoshi back in the Castle, just before it was about to explode? Him. And now that Bowser had enslaved much of the Mushroom World, he knew it was up to him to save everything. "Mario?" said a voice. It was Toadsworth. "You should really calm down, you know, it can't be good for your health--" It was at this point that Mario picked up Toadsworth by the scruff of his shirt. "In case you haven't heard," Mario said in a low growl, "My friends have been killed by Bowser, and you're telling me to calm down??" Toadsworth looked shocked. Mario dropped him, and he fell to the ground. He went scrambling around in his pockets. He found a Feather, used it, and a Cape suddenly appeared in mid-air. He donned it, and flew off towards the Koopa Kingdom. 'This must be the darker Mario,' Toadsworth thought, 'The one that no-one ever sees.' The shocked Mushroom villagers went back to their daily routine.

A shadowy figure appeared from behind a Mushroom house. "Mario is heading towards the Koopa Kingdom," he said into a reciever. "Perfect. I can finally deal with Mario myself. Viper, you truly are a worthy soldier." Viper smiled from beneath his black cloak. "This isn't over, Mario," Viper hissed at Mario's quickly disappearing figure. "I'll make sure you die quickly..."

OK, everybody-- it's time for another RPG! First off, you choose a VG character, and you designate 10 attacks for it (5 Normal, 5 Magic), HP and special Magic points needed. Example:

Bart Simpson

HP: 80
MP: 80

Normal Attacks:

Punch: Does 5HP.
Kick: Does 12HP.
Jab: Does 7HP.
Uppercut: Does 18HP.
Smash: Does 18HP.

Magic:

Slingshot: Takes 5MP, Does 10HP.
Cap Toss: Takes 7MP, Does 11HP.
Skateboard: Takes 10MP, Does 16HP.
Super Smash: Takes 20MP, Does 20HP.
Headbutt: Takes 15MP, Does 18HP.

Rules:

Max HP cannot exceed 175.
Max MP cannot exceed 150.
Total Normal Attack Power cannot exceed 100.
Total Magic Attack Power cannot exceed 90.

Also, during a single post, you are allowed to:

Do a total of three attacks.
Move around freely.
Pick up random items (Using them counts as an attack)

If there are any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I will tell you which items are in the arena. I'm kinda like Yoshi in Luigi #98's Rampage World Tour, but this is a bit different. So, a post may look like this:

Bart Simpson jumps onto top platform.
Picks up Ray Gun.
Shoots Lisa Simpson. Lisa loses 8HP.
Bart uses Punch. Lisa loses 5HP.
Bart uses Super Smash, Bart loses 20MP.
Lisa loses 20HP. Lisa KO'd.

Me (Announcer): We have a winner: BART SIMPSON!

Anyway, we'll start when we have two members for the first match. Happy smashing!

Mario Chat / Best Sprites and Sounds

Throughout many of the Mario games, Mario, Luigi and the gang have sounded different and looked different each time. But what does this mean? This is the question on everybody's lips:

WHO IS THE BEST MARIO?

My personal favourite is the SM64DS Mario, and the favourite voice is probably from that of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. Same with Luigi. But, what does everyone think?

Is anybody interested in being in a fangame that I'm making? As you may have judged by the title, it's about TMK. All you need to do is tell me what you want to do in it, and what you want to look like. I'll see if I've got any sprites for you. Also, if you want to look like your namesake (eg: Red Paratroopa), then I can organise that as well.

I'm making an RPG about the Koopa Kids, and I need some help. I was about to give up, when I realised I could just start up this thread!

Here is my story:

It has been only two days since Bowser and his children were thrown out of Dinosaur Land by Mario, Luigi and Yoshi. Bowser looked at the Koopa Kids. They had their eyes to the floor, not daring to l;ook at their angry father. "I gave you power," he yelled, "And you couldn't even defend my Koopa Castle from a couple of plumbers!" "Neither could you," Iggy said under his breath. Bowser growled. He pulled out a Magikoopa's wand, and flung them into the past. They saw Yoshi and a young Mario run by. They realised where they were- Mario's past. However, as they wwent exploring in this land, they became seperated. they disappeared, one by one. In fact, the last one left was Lemmy. A gigantic warp appeared. He took a deep breath, and entered it....

Mario Chat / How does Mario get around?

At first, you'd think that Mario would just go into a Warp Pipe. But wait! Remember the Koopa Cruiser from M&L? Also, what about the Cape and the Super Leaf? Don't forget Jugem's Cloud, and many that I've probably left out (like FLUDD).

So, how does Mario get from kingdom to kingdom? Why the Koopa Cruiser, and not just the Pipe? There was one right in Stardust Fields, not to mention one right in Beanbean Castle Town.

Also, why doesn't Mario just warp straight to Bowser's Castle? Please reply, I need other people's view on these things!

Oh, and I have to know-- how do I beat those Koopas that block the passageways?
I'm still stuck in Chucklehuck Woods, and I can't use my Spin Jupm too well.
