This is a very long story, so I'll cut to the chase...

I found a Sega 32X on sale for 5 dollars at Wal-Mart.
You can't even buy a used 32X for less than $10 at my local Game X-change!  At first I couldn't believe it.  It turns out that Wal-Mart grossly overestimated the popularity of some Video games and systems, and as a result they have tons of aging electronic inventory that they have to get rid of, at any price.
So, all you retro-gamers (especially in southern, rural areas) check your local Wal- Mart for old games at dirt cheap prices!

Yes, I bought a 32X.

Yeah, Wall-Mart can be great for that kind of thing.  After Sunsoft re-released the Final Fantasy Legend trilogy (GB), my local Wall-Mart was selling each one for $40, but they eventually put the first two in with all the other bargain games for $20 each - a price I have yet to see anywhere else!

Why would anyone WANT a 32X?  That thing had less games than Virtual Boy!
Mega 2
Cybernetic Abiogenesis Project

Why, you ask?  Nostalgic purposes, I guess...   What can I say?  I'm a sentimental fool.
