I'm hoping NoA will change the names due to potential racism. It'll be the first name change NoA makes in a long while that I will condone (stringently stares at garbage like "Fantina, Roark & Bertha")

1. I'd actually prefer the obscure gem or metal to "Black/White."
2. I'm not entirely sure I'll be getting either. I think I've grown bored with Pokemon.

You guys are complaining about "Black and White" when the originals were "Red / Blue / Green"?

Uncreative? And this is following such creative names as "Gold and Silver" and "Diamond and Pearl."

I just don't like how they flow with each other.

Red/Green = Colors
Gold/Silver = Colors and/or Metals
Ruby/Sapphire = Common Gemstones
Diamond/Pearl = Less Common but more Precious Gemstones
Black/White = Monochromatic Colors

It's like the whole concept is de-evolving.
