Just wondering what you guys would say... I had to exclude SMRPG in the poll for obvious reasons.  These were the first RPGs that came to my mind, if I missed any of your favorites just vote "Other".

Earthbound rules all...

Earthbound gets my vote. It aggravates the heck out of me that the GBA version wasn't released in America.
Chrono Trigger'd be second, except that I haven't played enough of it to say.

Chrono Trigger owns all.
That was a joke.

Chrono Trigger doesn't own all.

Chrono Trigger totally does not own all.  Here, I will name three things which Chrono Trigger does not own:

  • Super Metroid
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Super Mario Bros. 3
Each of those owns Chrono Trigger.  Hard.  If we're talking strictly turn-based RPG's, though... Chrono Trigger owns... mostly everything.

The only RPG I've played on the SNES is SMRPG, but based on my experiences with FF1&2:DoS on the GBA, I'd say Final Fantasies. Although the FF2 on FF1&2:DoS is the Japanese FF2 (on the Famicom). Oh well.
All your dreeeeeeams begiiin to shatterrrrrr~
