General Chat / Farewell, for good...
« on: June 25, 2004, 10:39:12 PM »
Hey all. You haven't heard from me for a while. Y'know why? Because, these forums aren't what they used to be. I can't enjoy them any more!
I remember way back when, last summer. Last summer was the best. Last summer, the FF were at their peak of greatness, with many good faces posting often. Summer was a time of celebration here. Only one pompus buffoon stood.
Then, as the days of GMC Bored topic died, so did the civility of the boards. Many new spammers appeared, making my time spent here much less enjoyable. Good friends, such as Sapphira, were leaving. By fall, the Fungi Forums were dead to me. I tried to spark an intrest back in it, to get along with the new faces, but I couldn't! Every newbie was more crass than the last! I couldn't stand it. I left. For a while.
I tried to return. But the Forum that I had grown to enjoy was gone. Nothing left stands here for me. So, I'll see you all. Good-bye, Cupperson, LD, Insane Steve and all my other friends... Farewell.

General Chat / Sorry, but goodbye for now.
« on: February 14, 2004, 11:10:03 PM »
Hey, all. I'm sorry to say that I won't be posting much anymore. I'll probably come back sometime in the summer, but for now, I'll be gone.

Actually, the only people I'm really sorry to are the people who haven't really ticked me off in the past few months, the fans of my Fan Fiction, and a few others, (Most notable are CW, Insane Steve, Sapphira, and LD)

Goodbye friends, enemies, and people whom I have not met.

General Chat / Hey, please read this.

Hey all. I'm planning a really funny new Mario comic,(you can read the others here) and I was wondering: What Mario characters would be best suited for a team of three?

I have sprites for:

Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Peach, Daisy,
Li'l Dave, Daniel,(Well, they aren't Mario characters, but I'm the writer.) Toad, Link, Shyguys, Birdo, and some of Wart.

Pair off teams as you see fit. I still have to get s'more sprites.

Oh, yeah. The teams are for a dodge ball tournement. And the coolest part? I'm gonna put a poll on my site and let you decide the outcome! Later!

General Chat / Amazing Parental Feats

Though this it's been over a week since 2003 came to an end, but jeeze, it was a good year. They caught Saddam, many a terrific video games were released, and I finally beat Super Mario Sunshine. But this tops all of that. Get this - My dad, who's 50-ish, actually wanted to play video games with me. This is amazing because my dad usually hates to watch video games.(with the possible exception of Medal of Honor series)And the only video game my father has ever played is Pong, Star Castle, and Super Mario Kart. And he isn't to good at them. But on December 31st, 2003, my father played Mario Kart Double Dash!! with me. Yeah. Surprisingly, he enjoyed it. He came close to winning a couple of times, which is something to say because I'm pretty good at it. Luckily for me, though, my dad hasn't asked to play any more. Anybody else have parents like this?

Anybody ever heard of this game? It's a really old NES game. It was made be a very early Rare, and had you piloting a small water craft. You shot other boats, tried to rescue people in some missions, destroy mines in others, and just stay alive in some. Oh, and there was the fights with the giant sea creatures. Anyone?

Hey! Guess what I just learned how to make?
No, not a robot.
Not that, either.
No!!! I learned how to make Platform Games!!
The Current product is titled: "Wario Land: Grab Some Cash". It stars Wario, obviously. You run around, stomping thing, collecting coins and making your way to the exit.
I made Wario's sprites out of the SMB Mario sprites. It only has two enemys right now, but I'll work on more.
I'll update you when I work on it some more.
Anyone else have a Mario themed game? I know Cashcrazed does, who else?

Hey all! Sorry for such a sudden departure from the forums, but I have some good news!
The Northmor High School football season is over, and now my Fridays are free. Plus, I had to really work to keep my grades at a suitable average.(Don't worry- I have a C average.) What this has to do with this post? Absolutely nothing! Here's the deal- I have to have a journal of some sorts for English class. I thought, "Hey! Why not write a story for it?" This is the end result. Lemme set the stage for you: Mario and Luigi are living in Brooklyn, NY, and the Mushroom Kingdom's under attack by the Koopas. You'll just have to read the story to find out how this goes! HA HA HA!

Video Game Chat / Wind Waker 2?

If heard talk that the Big N is planning a second Wind Waker, but is planning on keeping Link a kid. What's up with that!? Here's proof that Link could be cel-shaded and still look spiffy as an adult.

General Chat / I just relized something....

I forgot to have a "Hello, I'm new" topic! Goodness! Where were my manners? As useless as this topic is, I just thought I'd say so. My first topic was "Don't you just hate..." or something like that. It was by Super Mario 123187. That was also me.

Video Game Chat / Constantly Reproduced Man in: Pac Man
« on: September 22, 2003, 08:24:30 PM »
I dunno if any of these here forum members have been to my downloads section, but I have updated it quite a bit. I have a few ok games, and then there's Pac Man. I can't quite explain it, but this game adds quite a bit(graphically, at least) to the original. A nice music track, colorful graphics, and original stage designs, it's lots of fun! And, It features a multiplayer mode!(hotseat) WOOT!
The reason for this topic:
I want some opinions. Please?

« on: September 21, 2003, 04:26:39 PM »
Hello friends, foes, and fans. The subject of running a website, moderating some rather crappy forums of my own, participating in my school's marching band, (which is practically the best marching band in the Mid Ohio Athletic Conference) and school work, has left me with little time of my own to vistit ya'll here at tMK! As I am too lazy to really search around on the site, could somebody please fill me in on what in all's gone down here? So... Um.. Yeah..

Rest assured. There is no signature. There never has been, and never will be.

Guess what? My brother's girlfriend's family obviously owned one of these suckers, because today, she brought one over and said "Look what I've found!" So... Know any games for the little guy?

I want to know, TMK staffers, if your still accepting icons and cursors.. I made a few. I have a Wario Ware set made(It's Wario's little yellow glove as a pointer), and am currently working on a Mario set. Interested?

Either way, I''m still a cad! I hate everybody! Yaaarrrgh!

According to the July issue of Tips and Tricks, SMA4 will NOT include Mario Bros Classic(and Battle), but will include Super Mario Bros! (with enhanced graphics, or so I read) HA! Something new is better than Mario Bros!

Either way, I''m still a cad! I hate everybody! Yaaarrrgh!

"Hello Video Game fans! This is Ken the Reporter here, live, at Princess Peach's castle where we are waiting for the combatants to arrive for the world biggest battle; Mario V.S. Link! While you folks have actually gotten to play a fight like this, you've never READ anything like this!"
This is a fan fic I've wanted to write for a while. In a sort of WWE style story line, (complete with alliances and rivalries) I'll tell the ficticious account of SSB battles.(disguised as Ken the Reporter of course!)
This ISN'T in any way copying what sean has with his "write the fite" topic.

LET THE BATTLES BEGIN!!

Sorry.. I had to put that.
