SMRPG is definitely one of the greatest games ever. The only problem with reissuing it is that Square is still mad at Nintendo, aren't they? That would be like the ultimate portable RPG, because of its "can't-put-it-down" quality....

Well, they sort of did make one already, in Paper Mario. It's somehow more like a cartoon than most of the 3D cel-shaded games, considering that the characters in PM were all 2D...

Oh. Well that explains why she still sounded so weird in MK64. Anyway, Leslie Swan is (or was) editing Nintendo Power, wasn't she? Maybe that's why they got a different voice for her. Peach in MP3 (heh) sounds pretty much the same... but I still think that Jen Taylor is the best Peach. On the subject of voices, did the Bros. have italian accents in the cartoons? I have never gotten a chance to see any of them.

The easiest way to make a POW block that I can think of would be to make a 1-pixel tall line under the pow and then say when Mario hits that, knock all the enemies over... you can make it so the pow shrinks and then move the line up too... The only problem is that if any part of Mario (like his hand or foot or something) hits it it will do that. I have this game where you try to jump on a Goomba and the guy's hand touches the top of one and it squishes without being jumped on... can't figure that out yet. Any help with that would be good...

Leslie Swan was only Peach's voice for one game. In my opinion, Jen Taylor's acting is much better. She's Peach in SMS too, I think. It sounds like her anyway. Isn't Luigi's squeaky voice Japanese? It seems like whenever they to a thorough job of localizing the game for America, they have Luigi's voice lower, like it's supposed to be. In the games where they don't change any of the sounds (SSBM, MK: Super Circuit and maybe other stuff?), his voice is real high. Also, Toad's japanese voice is higher. Same with Wario's....

That's cool. This is sort of related to that... You know where Mario hits a box or something with what seems to be a picture of Prof. Gadd on it? Then it gives Mario a new nozzle for the pump? Maybe Dr. Gadd designed the FLUDD! (I thought it was FLOOD, but whatever.)
