No offense, but I had a feeling this thread would take a bad turn. This is really only a sub division of The ANGST Thread.

Confess my deepest feelings to a bunch of nerds on a forum? I don't think so.

I agree to a certain extent. Mainly because there are some people on the Internet don't really take every word you say seriously enough to produce a sincere reply (e.g. TEM's reply to nenson's post).

nensondubois, I know that you have to get this off your chest somehow, but I do not think it's a good idea to talk about a loved one's death online to people you don't really know. I lost someone that was also close to me, and it's hard to realize that person is no longer here to talk to. You'll pull through. Be strong, nenson, and know that your mom would want you to be as well.

In retrospect to TEM's post, yes, this is a Mario fan site. Although, we have discussed many personal things that didn't relate to Mario whatsoever. But since death is such a personal matter, it's best not to talk about it online with strangers. because that person is grieving the loss of a loved one, therefore making their feelings more vulnerable of being hurt. Talk about this among people that are close to you in real life, not on the Internet. To put it mildly, there are a lot of rude people out there, and you have to make yourself aware of that.

I probably shouldn't mention this, but I just wanted to say I'm glad that we have these kinds of celebrations each year. It really helps bring us together as a community, and it also shows how much progress each member is making whether it's positive or negative. If it is negative, then hopefully those members will try to better themselves as a person by readjusting their attitudes. Here are my votes;

I rarely come to this thread, but upon seeing that bullet bill picture my jaw dropped through the floor. That is a very highly detailed bullet bill! The mouth looks like it could devour a mountain. Cool stuff.

Mario & Luigi: SuperStar Saga. Probably one of the best Mario handheld games for the GBA. Even after you beat the game, you can still go back to play some of its mini games (the barrel mini game is one of my favorites.) Super Mario Bros. Deluxe was another one of my favorite Mario handheld games.

I just have no self control when it comes to forums. Seeing that I'm in school again on a daily basis, the amount of time I spend here and #tmk has become a problem.

At least you're acknowledging that the Internet is becoming a big distraction to you. I know It's tough breaking bad habits, but you still have to try gaining some self-control if you want to get anything accomplished in life. Keeping yourself busy with other activities that don't revolve around the PC should help take your mind off browsing the Internet. See you around, Kuromatsu. And good luck with everything. :)

I noticed in Trainman's picture that the status bar at the bottom of the scrollbar is missing. Maybe that's the problem. Try clicking on 'view' and enable the status bar to be visible from underneath the scrollbar. That might fix the problem.

I would be pretty disturbed if I got a birthday card like that. Happy _belated Birthday, Weegee. I bet you had cake and turkey for your birthday since it's on the day of Thanksgiving. I can't imagine eating both cake and turkey in one day, but I'm sure some people do it though.
