I've heard that it used to be that Kirby games would be one of the last Nintendo games to show up on a console. Of course, that's not the case with the DS, but...

I'm probably alone in citing the oft-overlooked Kirby and the Amazing Mirror as my favourite instalment. As for KSSU partners, I'm torn between the near-invincible Simirror, or Plasma Wisp.

Yeah, I never played it multiplayer, either. The Kirby games are usually pretty vanilla for me, so all I can say is the Metroidvania setup was a bizarre choice.

Bandwidth exceeded, mo'fo.

I suppose why KatAM struck my fancy was its relative difficulty. Kirby games are generally cakewalks destined for absolute completion within a matter of hours, so the sprawling worlds and well-concealed treasures was rather refreshing.

Jet power is your friend in that room. Did you know you can angle your flight up or down? Start a horizontal dive, the hold up or down to angle it. This has helped me get that treasure many a time. :)

I'm sorry but I don't play video games for bragging rights. I play mainly for story. "Great Cave" has very little, "Milky Way" has tons.

I hope for your sake you never get Squeak Squad, because you'd never complete it with that attitude.  Seriously, the entire sense of uniqueness from that segment comes from the treasures.  What's the point of even playing that part if you're not even going to try to collect all of them?  I can't speak for the original, but the Ultra version of GCO has several neat shout-outs to other Nintendo franchises that make it worthwhile.

That's "Face Heel Turn."

My favorite game in Super Star [Ultra] is either Revenge of Meta Knight, Helper to Hero, or GCO.  Meta Knightmare Ultra was fun but would have done better fleshed out and made into its own game.

Heel Face Turn is when a bad guy turns good. Face Heel Turn is when a good guy turns bad. I'm not familiar enough with the plotline of Kirby to know which one's right.

CrossEyed's definitions are correct and are normally applied to professional wrestling. As for Marx, he did a Face Heel Turn:

"He originally appeared as a small jester, balancing on a multicolored ball who asks Kirby into helping him end a quarrel between the sun and moon. When Kirby listens to his plea and does as he says, he turns up just in time to initiate the final part of his devious plan, and reveals that he manipulated Kirby to gain power."

Sort of like Sirius in Bomberman.

Dedede's plots only look bad on the outside. By the end of each game (after Dream Land), it is found that Dedede had good intentions all along. Same thing happened with DynaBlade.
