Well, there may be a few cameos of other Nintendo characters in Metroid Prime. There have been plenty of other Nintendo games that featured cameos of other Nintendo characters.

Super Mario RPG had cameos of both Link and Samus.

So whay wouldn't Metroid Prime have cameos in it?

Yeah, but Mario games could have cameos easier because it's not a serious, dark type of game.
