I was mowing the lawn yesterday, and I was thinking to myself, Man, this really stinks. Why isn't there an electric programmable computer lawn mower to do this for me? Then, there's always that time when you can't find something valuable that was lost, and you wish for those GPS X-ray-vision goggles that would lead you right to it. So, what inventions do you need most to guide and help you in this world of today?

We need what sims in The Sims 2 have.
An Elixer Of Life!
To have just a few more days of youth...
Plus, the Gene-Bender 2000 must be an excellent idea for an invention, shown in my fiction Low Cut Genes.
And we need GOOD VR.
Like, when we move, the people move.

I dunno.
I'm running outta ideas.

You know what we really need? That giant robot spider from Wild Wild West. Just think...

[thought]
Me: AH HAHAHAHAHAHAH! Fffooooolish humans! No one can escape my GIANT ROBOT SPIDER! Haha! (fires a missile into something)
[/thought]

Ahh...but seriously, robot spiders are cool. And another thing we need is an automomatified blender that will blend stuff for you.

I wish there was some sort of forcefield that would keep all bugs out of the house.  I mean, they just wander in by accident, only to be killed or gotten out of the house after much frustration from the houseowner.  I wish they would just never come in.

Oh, and some sort of invention that could bring about world peace or something.  That's always important...

Hey, Playstation is not that bad! There are many games I love to play that would be impossible without one.

I think we need music. It's not much of an invention, but life would be boring as heck without it.

No. I like Playstation (regardless of the fact that I don't own a PS2).

I'd like to see a cure for arthritis in dogs. I have an eleven year old golden retriever who can barely get up stairs anymore, but otherwise is in good health.

Nanoassemblers. Good ones. None of this top-down, bottom-up business, just good old assembly!
