It hurt at first, but, hey! My butt must've actually shrank 'cuz I lost 7 pounds since then!! (Okay, so my butt wasn't being laughed-off, but I literally *was* rolling on the floor laughing.)  I AM serious about the 7 pounds thing, though.

I programmed my first game at age 10 in QBASIC. It was rock paper scissors.

Just wondering, why did we need a wedge?

And I remember when Xizer came here. I put up about 5 failed wedges. I think I had most relevant topics back to normal.... but I couldn't get the whole forum to normal.

Don't worry.  I have no plans of destroying this forum with HTML of any other powers.  I actually hate those forums that have so much HTML and images that you can barely read what the people are saying.

I definitely concur. The more I post here, the more I love this simple format. If Deezer ever decides to change it, or if ClassicGaming/GameSpy ever forces him to, I might just pick up and leave. That's how much it would bother me.

A few days ago I checked out for my first time the official Legend of Zelda forums at forums.zelda.com. Never before have I seen so insanely complex a message board. Each graphic- and table-laden page took my poor, dial-up connection forever to load. It was bad. May these forums forever avoid that route.

You know, if you are actually able to edit posts w/o having the proper password, this board system is seriously unstable. If I had the time, I'd look into it. Oh well. Perhaps the Fungi Forums will just have to be shut down.
