They name a cancer cell after those poor mistreated creatures. How ironic.

Pokémon. They don't cause cancer.
Pokemon, they do. I'm sorry.

Yeah, there was no point in making this reply.

Who is sick enough to name a new cancer gene after creatures which are used commercially for an industry where kids are involved!!
In fact, the term 'Pokemon' hasn't even been accepted officially as a new term in the English language!!

That's just plain sick!!

"Grr, they say Dr. Robotnik instead of Eggman"

I'm a lover of the older, side-scrolling Sonic games, so I prefer the name Dr. Robotnik.

Time slowed and Reality bent.
But on and on the Eggman went.

I haven't played Sonic games in years, so maybe I'm way off...but perhaps his first name is Eggman and is last name is Robotnik?  So his full name is Dr. Eggman  Robotnik?  Similarly, Bowser used to be called "King Koopa," but this is not a problem, because his full name is "King Bowser Koopa."

His whole name is Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.

I wonder what's next, Mario the cause of AIDS?

As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

You are all wrong. His name is Eggman. When Sonic was brought to the US, they changed it to Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Then, around the time of Sonic Adventure, they got smart and changed it back.

Eggman is his real and only name.

BAH.

Shall we call ALL videogame characters by their Japanese names then? Eggman is a lame name anyway. :P

In the Sonic X TV show, Dr Robotnik is Dr Eggman's grandfather. That is the episodes where Sonic and Dr Eggman team up-- and the tragic loss of Shadow the Hedgehog.
If my son could decimate Lego cities with his genitals, I'd be [darn] proud.
