Video Game Chat / Re: What was your FIRST EVER video game?
« on: December 23, 2002, 08:46:06 PM »
My first video game/system was an NES. My neighbor owned it, then got tired of it and gave it to me and my brothers. We had Super Mario Bros. 3, Tiny Toon Adventures, and some game where you controlled a tank in a desert. But a few months after we got it, my mom gave the NES and the games back to my neighbor because we played it too much. But after Christmas, I plan to buy a used NES for thirty bucks. Interseting how fate works, isn't it?

Well, I think there should be more than 8 playable characters, so I'm just gonna say all the people who would be in a Mario Kart game:
1.Mario
2.Luigi
3.Peach
4.Yoshi
5.Toad
6.DK
7.Wario
8.Bowser
9.Koopa Troopa
10.DK Jr.
11.Waluigi
12.Daisy
13.Kamek
14.Shadow Mario
15.Prof. E. Gadd
16.Wart

I think I heard something about a new GBA that plays online using the type of technology that's in a cell phone.

One question: Why are there Banjo-kazooie characters in there? Last time I checked, Banjo-kozooie had nothing to do with Mario.

Uh, I don't have as much stuff as some other people have, but I'll state my accomplishments anyway.

-Beat these Mario Games:
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario World (96 goals)
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario 64(120 shines)
Mario Kart 64(Got Mirror tracks)
Mario Tennis 64(Unlocked Secret cups)
Mario Party
Mario Party 2
Super Smash Bros.(All secrets)
Super Smash Bros. Melee(All secrets)
Luigi's Mansion(Rank A in both mansions)
Super Mario Sunshine(120 shines)

I was the first one out of anybody I know to get Mario Sunshine/ Get all 120 shines. Also, I'm going to be Mario for Halloween this year. And, I have the DK, Toad, and Wario collectable bean bags. I have the plush Mario and Bowser action figures, I also have the 1989 Mario action figure, and I have a Wendy's Mario action figure, and an old McDonald's Luigi action figure, a Super Smash Bros. Melee T-Shirt, and I HAd a mario Jelly pop, but my dog ate it. I think that's it.

I wish I could come on a lot more often, but I don't have much time nowadays, with homework and such.

Hmmm...Starfox, eh? I wanna know who the final boss is. It's probably General Scales. But I heard something about Fox's dad being in it, and Falco'll probably be in there too. Also, I don't really care if the ending is spoiled because:
1) I don't like Rare games
2) I don't have enough money for SFA.

My friend also had problems with his NES. He said www.classicgaming.com was a good site. Try looking on the links there for NES help.

Yeah, that claymation commercial was pretty cool. But anyway, my Nintendo Power article about e-reader said they would be releasing Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Baseball, Urban Champion, and Ice Climber as the next batch of NES games. Cool, huh?

Could somebody just type the keyboard notes used for the Super Mario Bros. theme?
