I saw the ad for Wii Fit Plus a little bit ago. I literally had no idea it was a videogame ad until the Balance Board showed up.

I've heard the Bowser's Inside Story ad is pretty bad, too, but I actually like that game so I don't want my image of it tarnished, despite Nintendo's best efforts.

Well, don't watch the M&L 3 ad until you've beaten the game. The advertisement is, in fact, atrocious and I have no idea why Nintendo keeps choosing to make the American commercials appeal to kids 9 & under.

What's very ironic is that the commercial has a lot of fat 11 year olds talking about "kicking germs' butts" and "Bowser inhales a vacuum shroom RAAAARGH LOL HEHEHE" but the game's dialog/etc. is definitely geared toward young adults & up.

Seriously, name one kid on that stupid ass commercial that would know what "discombobulated" means, as an example from the game.
Formerly quite reasonable.

The ad is bad but I don't blame the kids. They're just kids.

I just dunno how Nintendo could sit there and tell these kids, "Okay, here's your lines" and not even think twice about it. Who wrote this commercial? I'll kill whoever it was.

How did you botch that meme so badly?

From what I've seen of it, Chowder sucks, and though I've watched little more than an ad for Flapjack, the mere sight of its protagonists irritates me for some reason.

You know who I'm really tired of? That weird yellow guy from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends that has obtained some life of his own on Hot Topic t-shirts or something... the point is, I'm seeing him on things that don't appear have any other relation to that show, and I want to know how in the world he became a singularly appreciated character.

You're a terrible person.

also, Cheese got popular because autistic children think he's their idol.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Yeah, Cheese was funny for like the first episode he was in. Now he's just annoying.

Flapjack is fine but Chowder gets entirely too much airtime.

Once again, I've never seen the ad (I have beat the game, though), but it's the only one I've heard of that targets little kids--aside from the Mario Super Sluggers ad (which is the best Wii game ad I've ever seen), most of them are pointed towards women or giddy, multi-ethnic twenty-somethings.
