Do you guys know japanese caroons other than anmie? If so please list a few of them here.

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but I had thought that all japanese cartoons were called "anime".

Although I'm afraid I'm not an expert in caroons such as anmie, I do know that "anime" is just a shortened version of the word "animation".  So in a sense, there isn't anything else.  Anime is just anim(e/ation), although it seems to be that when most people hear "anime" they think of people with big eyes and muli-colored hair...
