In relation to posts so far: Luigi is a great character as is. The M&L series would be total crap if Luigi were as recognized by the NPCs as Mario.
In relation to the original topic: Yeah, looks like Miyamoto originally planned on making SM128 a game, but the title Super Mario 128 just refers to his tests with the GameCube and Wii now... it's a shame, really.

Sorry.  That quote reminded me of this Ganondorf sig I made.  On topic, I'd really like to see SM128 become a game.  Who knows? SM128 might be planned to be SM64's true sequel because 64x2=128.  Ya never know.  Just tossing guesses around.

The no. in the B64 refered to its power and bittage.  NES was 8-bit, SNES was 16-bit, PSone was 32-bit, and so on.  I believe it has something to do with the amount of colors or complecity each moveable rendered thing is.  Or I could be totally wrong, either idea works.

Funny, your sig reminds me of a sig I use.

Reverse the color gradients, make the blue a bit more green, and make the ripples softer, and you get the design for mine....
