With regards to the topic, the Powerstation custom campaign for L4D1. For anyone who hasn't tried it, do so. Especially if massive hordes, multiple tanks, gas chambers, lasers and trap floors are your thing. Get together a few friends and laugh, cry and scream for an hour or two.

Yeah, but after you start changing the models and effects you start to leave "costume" territory and wind up in "new character" territory.

Even if said characters are functionally exactly the same except for an aesthetic change? It'd be a good way to cut down on unnecessary characters, not to mention clones.

Now this looks more like it. I haven't had a desire to spend money on a Nintendo console since the DS, hopefully this changes things.

Wait, it uses regular lithium batteries? Come on, Nintendo, the amount of people screwing their Wiimotes with third-party battery packs makes it pretty bloody obvious that this is something people want...

Not a character request per se, but costumes.

Not just colour changes and such, but proper ones, sort of like WWWario -> Classic Wario. Still the same combat stats, only with a couple of effect changes and sound changes. For example;

Dr. Mario (similar to the effects he had in Melee)
Classic Wario (change some of the effects to ones more befitting of the older Wario)
Young Link (pretty much the same as Toon Link)
Roy (Marth but with fire effects)
Mewtwo (if Lucario is still in the game, change his effects to more psychic-y ones. Otherwise, put him in for whatever Lucario is replaced with)
Donkey Kong Jr (for Donkey Kong?)
Assortment of different retro characters (for Mr G&W. Would like to see Stanley the Bugman make his triumphant return...)

Is that a cover of the Aerosmith song?  Faith No More's cover of Black Sabbath's War Pigs is my favorite version of the song. 

Nope, it's an early version of The Perfect Crime with different lyrics. I thought the same thing. :(

It was in SM64DS so as to avoid having Mario sprint everywhere when you touch the D-Pad. Unnecessary with the 3DS.

Played the 3DS for the first time yesterday, at a shopping centre demo. Nintendogs was neat, and I liked the AR cards, but I found I felt a bit sick after only a couple of minutes of play (headache, eye strain, nausea). I'm just wondering if this is a common reaction, even after such a short playtime? (the 3D was all of the way up, but even still...)

I'd have no idea what my first game would be... I've fond memories of watching my sister play DOOM on our old computer (still have the disc!) and bunch of other shareware from a CD-ROM (Highway Hunter, some pinball game, Octolris... yeeaaah). But probably before that was my old Atari 2600, loved the old fishing games. I remember getting really upset as a child because the transformer for it blew up and ended its life. (Come to think of it, that'd still be pretty upsetting...)
