7 years tonight.  I can't believe it was seven years ago this very night that I discovered this forum and joined it after having followed the TMK website for a few years.  I would like to thank all of the forum members who have put up with me for the past seven years.  I know I haven't been very active in the last couple of years, but I'm trying.  It's been a long and strange journey, Fungi Forums.

There was a time when I used to know the names of every single Pokemon.  That was about 11 years ago, before Johto came into the picture.

In that case, don't bother capturing them all. Again, no one is forcing you to capture every single Pokemon in the games, so if you don't feel like wasting time capturing the oens you will never use, by all means don't do it.

Well yeah, I mean it's not like there's any big reward for catching them all, just bragging rights (which at my age wouldn't matter anyway because I'm probably the only one out of my friends that still plays these games.  What can I say?  I'm a kid at heart).

I've no beef with Lady Gaga, but how is she rock?  Boy, the term "rock" is thrown around so much these days.

I picked up SoulSilver. I throughly enjoy it. Hell, I'd say it's better then Diamond. I've never played the original Silver and Gold, so this was a new experiance.

I love the Voltorb game. It's way better then those almost-unwinnable Slot Machines.

I bought SoulSilver for the exact same reason.  This is only the fourth Pokemon game I've ever played (following Blue, Leafgreen, and Platinum) thanks to my embarrassing "anti Pokemon" years, which I recently brought up in my newest thread.

Implying that one needs religion to practice moderation.

You're right, PL.  My bad, I misspoke there.  I should have said "moderation" has gone out the window.  I wasn't trying to turn this into a religious debate.  I still stand by what I said, though (the whole "modern America doesn't know the meaning of moderation" thing).

If I were still a raging fanboy, I would say that both suck and Nintendo is better.  In reality, I have only played the 360, for about one night.

I can't quote it because it's too far back in the thread, but whoever said "modern America doesn't even know what that word means" in referring to "moderation" is right on the button.  Yes, self control (one of the Biblical Fruits of the Spirit) has surely gone right out the window by now, if we collectively ever practiced it in the first place.  Look at the guy who sued McDonalds for making him fat.  It wasn't their fault, you moron.  You simply had no willpower to practice moderation.  Now that I got that off my chest...taxing soda sounds like another way for the government to line its pockets with the dollars of gluttonous consumers.  Anyway, that's all I have to say on this.

According to the article, the father said that he had his firearm handy because he suspected someone snooping around his property the night before and then just kinda "forgot about it" and left it loaded out in the open. Fatal mistake.

I'd say "accidents happen," but this could have easily been prevented.  Like I said earlier, rule #1 of firearm safety.  You don't leave a loaded gun out in the open.

I would bet it'll be either MindCrystal or SpiritCrystal, since they both sound incredibly lame and therefore are prime picks by Nintendo's standards. The former sounds like some Final Fantasy key item, and the latter has little euphonic value. To quote a GameSpot thread regarding this very question, we'll get Pokemon Crystal Meth if we're lucky.

However, seeing as there was no Yellow remake following FR/LG, one could doubt that there'll ever be a Crystal remake.

SpiritCrystal sounds like something out of Sailor Moon.

And this is why you lock your guns away when you're not using them.

Third image down: my brother owns one of those for a big game hunting game on the Wii.

My question is, why wasn't the gun unloaded?  That is the most important thing about owning a firearm: keep it unloaded when you're not using it.  That is the fault of the parents.

I was a lot more about thread making when I was a newbie.  I make the occasional topic from time to time now, but only if it's something I think would make for a good discussion (Old Shames on the FF, for example), and not something like "OMG[wtd]BBQOBAMASUCKSBECUZHESADEMOCRATLOL!"

Oh, and before I forget, welcome to the forums, Rew.

"Diddy Kong says: EAT CRAP!!"  This sounds a lot like my old SSB story.
