Well, it was a live broadcast, so they invited people to talk on a third microphone, and this way, people got to talk on the air.
I chose to talk on the microphone, so I got on the air, and one of the radio show hosts told me I looked like Mario with my 'stache.
They did the show in my area last year and this year. They recognized me from last year (yes, as Mario) so that was awesome.
And I feel I should mention the radio show itself is mostly concerned with sports talk. It's actually one of my favorite shows to listen to year-round.

A red Wii sounds awesome. I'm glad the Wii finally came out in different colors. White is just so...BORING. Luckily, I'm the one who has bought most of our games, so the shovelware thing is mostly avoided (I wouldn't consider Wii Fit to be shovelware, because it is actually useful).

Anyway. Nintendo of America is dumb, so they decided to change Peach's name to Toadstool when the original SMB came out to fit with the whole "Mushroom" theme. Eventually they wised up and realized that Peach is a way cooler name.
Bowser has always been Bowser's American name though. They didn't ever change it here. It's always been Koopa in Japan and it's always been Bowser here. (A lot of people seem to think he was Koopa in SMB, but the manual clearly calls him Bowser. I guess whoever made the cartoons wasn't paying attention.)
Oh dear. I remember I made a complete fool of myself a long time ago on this very forum over this subject.
