I think it helps when you don't have dial-up, like Fwirt was and Mr.Melee used to have. If you do have dial-up, you have to first consider whether the post you want to make is worth the time it'll take to connect and then get to the FF, then post.

My hands smell like peaches.  It's this new soap.  Lizard dude should offer it as third prize.  Or better yet, the prize for third place should be not receiving it, because then he wouldn't have to go to the trouble of getting it and almost everyone would be a third place winner!
