What happened to mario's dominance over the video game world?  Lately it's been POkemon this, and Pokemon that.  Where did the time go?  20, no, 10 years ago, Mario was still a Superpower in the video game world.  A few years later, Pokemon came on the scene.  At first, nothing happened.  But then POkemon outsold the N64 in 1997.  POkemon had become a superpower.  So my question is?  Will Mario ever be the draw he once was?

Mariomania is still running wild! Whatcha gonna do Bowser, When Mario runs wild on you!
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

True, but, Mario is still well known, and respected.  This is true: In a poll around the world, kids were as famialiar with Mario as they were with Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny.

THank goodness  Mario is still a popular character in Nintendo's empire. I was eager to hear something like this.

He's still their mascot, after all. Pokemon is a Game Freak deal.

I fear the monkey in your soul.
That was a joke.
