If they ever do make it, it should be for the Gamecube.  SMAS2 would have 8 games rather than 4 on SMAS1.  Those games would be: Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island (SMW2),
Super Mario RPG, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario 64, Super Smash Brothers, Paper Mario,
and SSBM or Super Mario Sunshine.
I personally would prefer SSBM over SMS.

Pffffft, you how much money Nintendo would lose if they sold all those N64 games, SSBM, and SMS all as one item?

By my calculations... Quite a bit.
Besides, they basically released Super Mario Kart on the GBA. Play SC and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Rest assured. There is no signature. There never has been, and never will be.

I don't think they would ever put all those new games on one disc because they are still making money on some of them.  I think they should put the original SMAS + SMW + SM64 on a new SMAS GCN disc.  I'm not sure if they are still selling SM64 anywhere though.  I emailed Nintendo a few weeks ago (i think some others here did too) and they said there were no plans for such a combination disc.

It would also be cool if they put Mario RPG and Paper Mario on a GCN disc.

While were are talking about cool, why not have the next Game Boy Advance play GCN discs.

Well, IMO, nintendo released SMAS with the Big 3 of the NES plus "Lost Levels", so they should make a new one with the Big 3 of the SNES plus SMK.  Maybe even add the old SMAS to it.  But N64 games would be too much as they will still make money off of those for years to come.

THat was my original idea, they should put the 3 biggest SNES Mario games on a combo disk like they put the big NES Mario games on the original.

Maybe someone here can make a ROM with those games on it.
